Right, similar here in America, but its usually Saturday/Sunday and it's mostly just groceries. That's two hours, maybe, if you're going to more than one store (grocery and Costco for bulk items, for example). I'm assuming your average Britbong isn't getting groceries, new electronics, clothes, shoes, etc., etc. Not an entire day. Where are they going for the other ten hours Phil claims they're out?
Personally we just do a big shop when needed, sometimes once a week sometimes once every two weeks. Live close to shops so can get bits and bobs if and when required.

Phil's doing so much more than just shopping on these days off, he's splurging a fair amount on keeping Kat happy. Money makes Phil happy and he's using money to make Kat happy. As long as he has that she's going nowhere in a hurry.

Oh great. We've got another Twitch Bounty Board-rant, and his idiotic asshole trolls are obviously to blame that Twitch cut him off of that program.

I hope this motherfucker gets backhanded by reality some day. Imagine what his reaction would be like if game devs came out and specifically said that they don't want anything to do with him and his autistic stream.

"Maybe if you didn't take away my ability to participate in this bounty program, I wouldn't have to e-beg. They don't take responsibility for their own actions"
- you've been e-begging for as long as you've been on Twitch, grandpa. Love the fact that you're slowly owning up to the fact that you're e-begging.
*sigh*

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, too, considering his insistence that they eat all three of their meals in restaurants while they're out. They could pick up food or pack lunches but nope, he's paying for three sit-down meals for two people every single week.

I mentioned this a few pages ago, but I wonder if DSP has ever thought to himself: "Why are my trolls worse than everyone else's?"

Then again, there's nothing DSP likes to do more than play ignorance. He never fucking knows anything about anything.

Chris Rock said it best two decades ago: "N----- love to not know. Nothin' makes a n---- happy than not knowing the answer to your question. Just ask a n---- a question, any question, ["Why are your trolls so bad?"] "Man, I dunno dat shit! Keepin' it real!" N----- love to 'keep it real.' Real dumb.

Eat out Monday, tuna casserole and frozen dinners the rest of the week

Can someone explain this? cliffybiro makes constant "detractor" references and memes...and is also the top cheerer and has gifted like 10 or 15 subs recently.

It's just very confusing to me to toss tens of dollars at someone you don't seem to actually like.

i think its people who learned of phil through places like KF and then actually enjoyed his content but knows liking his content makes him look pathetic so he trolls "look im one of you, i don't ACTUALLY like his content im just pretending"

It’s a special case of some in between detractor. They don’t hate or loathe DSP because he’s a shitty person or like watching him because he’s a fascinating basket case. Their immature and like the drama aspect and memes around him more than anything else, so they likely just try and stir up drama. They get a chuckle out of detractor memes without actually understanding why the people making these memes are detractors of this guy.

At least that my theory on these weirdos that openly mock him while also supporting him financially

Dude if he's getting thousands a month in donations. A couple of meals eating out every week is nothing. He must be spending a sh&t load. Or is keeping all the money and has massive savings.
DSP's financial issues come from thinking exactly like this, he probably spends like all his donations are just straight income and neglects to set shit aside for taxes and other financial obligations he already has. DSP's financial habits are how a child behaves when given allowance.

Slightly off-topic but I've always wondered something, and this seems like a good time to ask someone.

I've heard Phil complain that doing "DSP Tries It" with fast food is no longer financially viable with ad revenue and all that jazz. He complains that the cost of the meal is more than the return on ad revenue, so he doesn't do it anymore.

Question: Has Phil ever responded to the very obvious kicker that that money he spends on fast food is money that he would spend anyway (like everyone) to get calories in his stomach? Why does he write off money spent on "DSP Tries It" food like it's flushing an investment down the toilet?

I have little doubt that this guy enjoys shitty food while either out with Kat, or at home as the result of a bloated grocery bill spent on ready-made meals. He could just get a camera out when he's hungry, and when he decides to try one of those gimmicky new sandwiches that Burger King and McDonalds release every season. He would just have to maybe set a phone reminder for himself telling himself that he doesn't need to shell out more money to eat food because he just. did. that.

This idea seems like the center of the bullseye for him since he loves to double-dip his content for more $, since he can do the same with the awful food he eats. I'm baffled as to why he doesn't.

I've said this before also. It doesn't make any sense. Or fuck, do it live and get those sweet, sweet INTERACTIONS! Piggies would love watching master cram 20 tacos down his gullet. 'For every $100 in tips I make I will eat another taco!' He'd make like 3 grand and actually get to eat how much he usually does on camera and not have to lie and say 'pay no attention to those other 3 bags back there'.

DSP is a man of habit and routine. He doesn't try new things unless he has no other option.

Plus DSP has to be in control at all times. Him taking viewers suggestions is too much like viewers telling him what to do in his mind. The same way he always vetoes the fan voting because of trolls and just plays whatever he wanted to play anyway.

My guess is kat told him he needs to eat better and to stop doing DSP tries it. When you consider that doing a live stream dsp tries it, he’d make a bunch of money from it and the paypigs would eat it up. But we all know Phil likes to be lazy, do the bare minimum and he has to do what kat says. Besides he’s on this weird boomer kicker that he’s a mature adult and not a clown or a children’s entertainer

DSP's financial issues come from thinking exactly like this, he probably spends like all his donations are just straight income and neglects to set shit aside for taxes and other financial obligations he already has. DSP's financial habits are how a child behaves when given allowance.

We may get some idea if he asks for people to pay his taxes again. It's a bit odd that he hasn't yet said anything about them this year. Of course, given the secret marriage and cat, asking people to pay his taxes too (directly) might be something even he recognizes as a bad move. (optimistic emojis galore)

Also the fact that Kat wants no part of his streaming shit and the fact that he would probably need/want to film in his kitchen area, meaning that he would either have to risk showing off some of the new shit he bought when he was in the "worst finanical time of his life" or move it all every time he wanted to do a video. He's lazy, so the latter option is never going happen. Thus, no new videos.

Just watched some older Almighty Tevin stream. During it Phil semi slipped up but later said he had thousands saved, and that he isn't short on money as much as he is short on disposable income.
The more I think about it, I believe this is actually how it is. He sees not having as much throw around money as he wants to as being broke.

A question to think about:

Knowing that Phil is the type of person to lie about being in a relationship, getting married and owning a cat - all while pleading for donations - would Phil be the type of person to lie about needing money just so he can build a nest egg for retirement?

He'd justify it as well like he did withholding the cat reveal, suggesting that people would not have been as generous had he been upfront about it.
