Look at this fucking clown

Attacking this women saying he's glad she is a victim of what he believes to be a groomed child of pedophilia

What an absolute embarrassment to humanity

The guy is obviously trying to bait at this point. He's essentially poorly fishing for something, anything that he could use. Hopefully the idiots actually interacting with him realize this and stick to mocking him if not just ignoring him. He's desperately clinging to this as this is the most relevance he has ever had. His interactions per tweet are garbage, but with how much he shits out he can delude himself into thinking he's doing well.

I can pretty much guarantee it'll happen to Shane too. Probably earlier, and especially if he's gonna keep riding the con circuit for self agrandizement. There is something off about Shane, and I'm not just referring to his rampant stupidity.

I imagine in the unlikely event that his con is a success and he achieves a degree of relevance and clout, he'll get taken down shortly thereafter. Power and fame are like a lamp for the PoundMeToo moths.

They decided all on their own that this is a money making scheme. Completely sans evidence. So since this is their chosen paradigm, everyone on the opposing side is just going after money at the expense of wahmens.
Wait, you mean it isn't? But the guy who sold me shares in the trial said it'd make me rich! Damn you, Nick Rekieta!
Good thing I spent the extra $100 for the Amazon.com-redeemable Beard Bucks.

Well that was Marchi's grand plan...for some heretofore unknown minor to appear by magic with videotape, parental witnesses and a returned Christ incarnate to swear that Vic raped her. They are just continuing the old plan.

Thought this was interesting. First time I heard about this was from Todd's messages that Sheehan posted, now from Manjaw's friend.
No offense, but @Svetlana ,does Vic remember this? And if so, how does he remember this? Totally understandable if he doesn't want to answer.

Vic said he has absolutely no recollection of this whatsoever.

EDIT: After reading thru other posts for more context and sharing that with Vic, he does remember this incident:

Vic and Todd had something called a "Tribute War" at one point. They each made a series of videos kind of punking each other. In classic pseudo-sibling rivalry fashion (which has always been their dynamic as long as I've known them), each video got more elaborate in order to one-up each other. The fans LOVED this and they both played it up for them often.

The panel in question was the premier of "Todd of the Rings." As you can see from the video, making it was no small task! Much was shot on location in NZ at Hobbiton, many professionals were involved, Vic spent months working on the editing, music and special effects, etc. The DP had even flown from Vermont to be there for this. And yes, that's Michele Specht as Gimli. The whole panel was FOR this premiere of this thing he had worked so hard on and was very proud of.

The video plays, the crowd (around 3000 people) was cheering, and as soon as the credits start to roll, the screen goes black and you can hear Todd laughing and saying something like, "You think you've won, but this isn't over! LOL" Vic's recollection is that Todd had arranged with the AV staff for this to happen ahead of time.

Vic was pissed that Todd had hijacked his panel and premiere, and he was also pissed that the staff had allowed it to happen. He said that he was so angry that he had to leave before he minecrafted Todd on the spot. He doesn't remember yelling at staff, but he probably did. He does NOT remember making anyone cry over it. I would have made several people cry myself, but that's just me.

Rooster Teeth seems like it is in the process of being absorbed by CrunchyRoll, or their staff will overlap so much that it won't matter.

CrunchyRoll and RT are owned by Warner Media which has Cartoon Network and Toonami.

I think if you combine those companies together you might have a decent competitor for replacing Funimation. Cartoon Network and CrunchyRoll having contacts, RT having production capabilities.

Someone who has better knowledge of the anime industry will probably correct me.
Talking about it on Discord, the line of thinking that I saw of death by restructuring is that RWBY, RvB, and maybe Gen Lock will go on some streaming site WB cooks up, and all the other stuff RT has will be put out to pasture. My other thought is that Death Battle will go their own way and maybe be supported by Patreon.

To any RWBY fans/haters here, If RT dies by way of restructuring, is there a chance that the end result could be RWBY being rebooted from scratch?

Vic was correct in contractually negotiating time be set aside for him to do his religious stuff. Don't like it? Leave. It's my understanding he generally doesn't do it in the panel proper. It's an after event. Conventions have plenty of shit going on simultaneously.

As a rule, he doesn't talk about his religion in panels unless someone specifically asks him about it.

The worship services actually have an interesting story behind them. He and Caitlyn Glass basically decided at one con to have an impromptu worship session together in a hotel lobby or side room or something that had a piano one Sunday morning, and a bunch of fans just sorta congregated around them. He realized that he could do the same sort of services he would do back home even at anime conventions, and at least some of the kids there would come. So basically, he decided it was something he could do at the cons for his faith without necessarily getting in anyone's way. Anyone familiar with anime conventions knows that Sunday at 9 am is a total dead time, so cons always have a room available. All the con really has to do is provide a couple volunteers. Outside of a few odd cases with union rules, the whole thing is, at most, a mild inconvenience to the con.

I'm thinking Sabat, too. What a snake.
It fits in perfectly with the experience that one YouTuber had with him on the red carpet premiere of Dragon Ball Super: Broly in December.
Which youtuber was this? I tend to stay well enough away anime youtubers and the only dragonball related youtubers I watch are all dokkan battle related.

She also openly posted on anime forums that looking at underage girls in skimpy outfits was one of the plusses of working there. No one there seemed to really think all of this was odd. During a con she openly tongue-kissed two minors on stage. Something she admitted to being unrehearsed and spur of the moment thing. No consent. (she insist they were 17, conveniently remembered the ages after someone posted about 17 being the legal age in Illinois or something at the time.) They do not look 17. They are most likely between 14-15.

didn't one of those girls already get doxxed here?

Since there's a very real chance that this lawsuit could wreck Funimation beyond any hope of recovery, I've thought a lot about who could replace Funimation as the industry leader.

Right now the big companies in the anime industry in North America are Funimation, Viz Media, Aniplex, and Sentai Filmworks.

There's also the smaller companies of Media Blasters, Right Stuff, and Discotek, but they're pretty much irrelevant in this conversation for a variety of reasons.

Discotek Media doesn't make new dubs, they just re-license and redistribute old stuff that has gone out of print.

Media Blasters and Right Stuff are essentially living fossils from the old days, but they aren't major players anymore and haven't done much since the late 2000's. They just haven't gone under like a lot of their 90's contemporaries and mostly just skate by because they hold licenses to a lot of old properties that the other companies don't want anymore.

Funimation only became the biggest fish in the small pond entirely due to the fact that the Great Recession at the end of the 2000's hit the anime industry pretty hard and took down a lot of the old "big dogs" of the 1990's like ADV, Geneon, and Central Park Media and reduced several other old guard companies like Media Blasters and Right Stuff to becoming mere shells of what they once were. 4Kids survived the recession, but went into a severe decline a few years later.

Funimation, Viz, and Aniplex were really all that was left because most of them had the licenses to the anime that were in vogue at the time, chiefly the anime that aired on Adult Swim and the OG Toonami back in the day.

Viz has Naruto and Bleach, which were arguably the two most popular shows in the anime fandom during the late 2000's and they also had the license to InuYasha, which was one of the heavy-hitters in the mid-2000's.

Having the licenses to those shows are probably what saved Viz during that time. Since then they hit nostalgia paydirt by getting the license to Sailor Moon in 2014, so they'll be doing fine.

Funimation also produced a lot of the hit anime dubs that aired on Adult Swim such as Fullmetal Alchemist and bought the licenses to a lot of the Geneon dubs that were popular on Adult Swim, Toonami, and Sci-Fi Channel back in the day.

Funimation has a knack for grabbing onto the next big thing in the fandom, and most of the big flavor-of-the-month anime hits of the 2010's have been dubbed and distributed by Funimation such as Hetalia, Attack On Titan, My Hero Academia, and so on.

However, as we've found out, Funi is getting woke and it will probably make them go broke. As far as I know, none of the other major companies (Viz, Aniplex, Sentai) have blacklisted Vic nor have they made any comments on the issue.

The only ones who are involved in this mess are Funimation and Rooster Teeth.

Rooster Teeth is a bush league YouTuber company who are fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of things, so it's likely that they'll collapse due to their own folly whether or not Vic decides to go after them in court.

But Funimation is being dragged into a legal battle that could easily end them.

Even if Vic doesn't bankrupt them in the lawsuit, the Kick Vic campaign has gone haywire and is becoming a nightmare for the company in terms of PR, and we haven't even gotten to the actual lawsuit yet.

It's quite possible that Sony will simply dissolve Funimation and tell the main architects of the Kick Vic debacle to take a hike, then merge all of Funimation's remaining valuable assets with Aniplex or some other replacement company.

Depending on how things play out in court and what Sony's main course of action is, it's very likely that Viz Media will be the new top dog in the anime distribution industry or Aniplex will do to Funimation what Funi did to a lot of the old Geneon licenses when they went under.
Viz has many things over Funi (except ecchi which I will acknowledge those perverts for), two notable things are 1.) Good PR, and 2.) having the rights to fuckin' JoJo which I think has taken off and will continue to rise further. JoJo being one of the dubs I can genuinely stomach.

I like how Emmet is slowly realizing not everyone has the same point of view has him.

There are many different peoples, culture, society, etc. Not everyone is a hugger or kisser but some are. We all show various degree of affection to people around us.
Like personally, im not a hugger. But i got family and friends who hugs and double kiss cheeks when greeting or saying goodbye. Im okay with it because i know its a sign of affection and my discomfort last only a moment. Social conventions can change and are changing as we speak but to go and call a man a sexual predator because he has different way to interacting with his friends, family and fans is beyond reprehensible.

If you dont like something then say so or make sure it doesnt happen but dont go around parading your own social convention and expecting everyone to adher to them or at the very least dont be a fucking hypocrite about it like all these VAs who do the exact same shit as Vic (hugs and kisses to fans).

They like to parrot shit like "my truth", what about Vic's truth then? For him it was socially acceptable to hug and kiss on the cheeks his fans. To him its not sexual in nature and has he put it, is meant as sign of affection and kindness for being his fan and for coming to see him after standing in a line for hours. It seems most of his fans actually understood that as well and maybe some arent "hugger" or "kisser" and experienced a moment of discomfort. But if they dont voice their concern then how could Vic know. And even if they had slight discomfort for a moment, is that really warranting the destruction of a man and his carreer.?
Would you consider yourself one of the... @Questioning_Huggers ? ;)
Motte and Bailey argumentation. It's the bane of the Internet, even more annoying than the classic Straw Man.
Y'know, for a wretched hive of scum and villainy, I sure learn a lot of useful shit here. I fucking love you faggots!

We went over this also.

RWBY might get a send off "movie." Rebooting RWBY won't work because they'll throw out Monty's notes. Nor get Jeff Williams for music.

All the stuff that made RWBY RWBY will be stripped. Less guns. More friendship is magic.

Or whatever High Guardian Spice was supposed to be.

The new RWBY manga at least looks promising. Hopefully that will survive.

Discotek Media doesn't make new dubs, they just re-license and redistribute old stuff that has gone out of print.

This isn't true anymore. They've been funding dubs of new Lupin stuff for years and have started doing shows like Kemono Friends and Bt'x. They even had Team Fourstar dub a movie for them. Discotek employs people like Justin Sevakis and Mike Toole so it's safe to assume Mignogna isn't welcome in their productions.

Elaborate.

Start from 10:55

Forneverworld went to the red carpet premiere of Resurrection F.
He approached Sabat on the carpet and introduced himself then asked if he could have a quick interview to be posted later on his YouTube Channel.
Sabat agrees.
After the interview is done, the YouTuber thanks Sabat and, as they are parting ways, Forneverworld noticed Sabat whisper to either his escort or security.
According to him, Sabat whispered, "Make sure that weird-looking guy does not come near me."

EDIT: This took a while to find because I had forgotten his name lol.
I got the wrong film. It was Battle of Gods, not Broly. Or was it Resurrection F? ForneverWorld, get the film right!

Here is the ForneverWorld red carpet video from the Resurrection F premiere:

She has contacted Hero Hei:

And as others have said, this is why the other ISWV YT personalities are useful. Not everyone is going to listen to or talk with Nick. Nick may not even get their DM/email immediately even if they try, while the smaller youtubers have less engagement and can quickly respond.

The problem with Emmett trying to spin 'I didn't really say that!' is that he's just not important enough to pay attention to. He's discredited himself by showing he's uncomfortable with normal interaction and therefore can't be used as a judge of another woman's discomfort in his story, but he's not important beyond t hat.

If he's Emment Plant*, he wrote Star Trek audiobooks for CBS. Which I guess technically makes him a "Star Trek writer."

But it also explains why he doesn't elaborate on what exactly he's done. The reality is not nearly as impressive as he makes it sound (and I personally like audio books and radio dramas like the Boomer I am).

I mentioned this months ago, but a lot of Trek people are not happy with Vic because CBS/Paramount gave him their blessing for ST: Continues, but not Anaxar.

*I dunno if he's the same Emment though. Feel free to research that.

Edit: Ninja'd.

Emmett supported ST: Continues and thought the guy who ran Axanar was a dick. His hateboner for Vic has only spawned since it became profitable via clout to jump on the kickvic train.

I'm sure everyone is enjoying the relative calm before the storm, but @EriMin has shared another con story on Twitter.

They say never meet your heroes, but imagine a job that's essentially that. Maybe that sounds a little depressing, but I think that pales in comparison to being so great at something that people you've never met before who are delighted by your work want to pay you money to do that thing and it only fills you with disgust.

It's interesting that they try to attack Vic with the idea that he's an angel to his fans (except when he's not, randomly, but it's never caught on camera) but then treats 'the help' like trash, and there's possibly some truth to it in that Vic will spend 8 hours interacting with fans and then sometimes be stressed and/or have rough encounters with staff because stress levels are high, but these people who consider themselves 'so much better' will court the staff and then disdain their fans.

I think the latter is worse, honestly, but for reasons different than the general consensus. For me, that kind of prioritization suggests that they see other staff as 'in their class' and so treat them as they would a lesser level of other VAs and industry professionals, while the attendees and their fans are the plebs, who they make a living entertaining but are all beneath them and 'the general public'. You see that kind of behavior out of celebrities often, as they're no longer able to connect to fans as individuals, and end up lumping all of them into a group of people who are wild and not to be trusted.

I don't know if this is Sabat in particular, just because I'm not sure if EriMin is a dragonball fan, much less a Vegeta one. He's not the only VA always asked to repeat the same line from his catalog of characters, he's just more well known for getting sick of it.

Vic said he has absolutely no recollection of this whatsoever.

I suspected that to be the case. I'm not convinced that Todd text isn't entirely faked, or somehow taken out of context. The dealbreaker is that Vic supposedly left a panel of fans and did not return. Not even in the fake kickvic profile of Vic would he do that. Screaming at her after the panel, maybe. Abruptly ending it because he got flustered? Nah.

Hmm, I honestly did not know that Discotek did their own dubs.

I always figured they mostly just re-licensed old dubs and while I know they were involved in the new Lupin stuff, I was under the impression it was part of a collaboration with one of the bigger companies like Funimation.

So, yeah I don't think Vic will be working at Discotek anytime soon.

Viz and Aniplex do hire some of the people who are part of Kick Vic but there is also a lot of crossover between voice talent at Viz and Funimation.

So, if Viz or Aniplex were going to make any official statements or blacklist Vic to avoid the wrath of SJW Twitter mobs, they would've already done it by now.

As far as I know, Viz Media has largely stayed silent on the matter and even if they did plan to officially blacklist Vic or make some kind of statement on the controversy, they probably decided against it when he lawyered up.

Emmett supported ST: Continues and thought the guy who ran Axanar was a dick. His hateboner for Vic has only spawned since it became profitable via clout to jump on the kickvic train.

My question is if he knew it was bullshit, since the video makes his version of the event obviously fiction within only a few seconds, or did someone throw this at him and he just wantef to be relevant SO bad he ran with it without any semblance of fact-checking. Both are completely shitty but one is more forgivable.

I have never hated someone so much that I was willing to make myself look like a complete fool publicly just in order to inconvenience the other person for a short period of time.
