Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Well, I am a man of many faces. All of which like females who look like females rather than adolesent boys. So ... how to say this....F U C K NO ! ! ! (Mentally contemplates self castration at the mere thought of that particular thot.)

Hey, don't say I didn't try to get you your comfort costhot.

But seriously, now that we've seen this bitch naked, how fucking drunk must Todd have been to stick his dick in it? I've been contimplating that most of the day.

Archive everything please. If you can't do it properly or are unable to, please page a mod or someone that can archive it for you. Is anyone available who can archive this?
Scratch that, didn't know its a pay site. I can't pay for skin pics.

I think Stephanie Young has made some statements otherwise.
Also, how dare this person not mention Reuben Langdon!
I think he means friends. Sure Reuben defended him but its not due to them being close friends and more he's seen what he is like up front with people

And Todd Haberkorn! They forgot about him!

Their relationship is complicated

Wait, Johny Young Bosch? I can still like him? I'm sceptical. How much can we trust @UnknownOtakuNeo? Does he have a direct line to Vic?

The format of the tweet implies this is not what the twitter person is saying are VAs that are ISWV, this is what Vic listed as people he still considers trusted friends. Presumably after someone asked him. If Stephanie Young said something pre-Matsuri, it can be presumed it wasn't something that he considered a betrayal for whatever reason. If someone isn't listed, either they forgot or Vic forgot, or he doesn't consider them a trusted friend.

Nick gave 50-50 odds (on the Dick Show) as to most of them having their TCPAs granted (for Marchi it was 70 percent in her favor), but he also opined that the chance of Ron getting his is nearly zero. He's said way too much stupid shit he shouldn't have and can't back up.

Sometimes I wonder if Nick is being pessimistic in his assessment. Personally, I'd like to see him reassess his estimates after Ty files his response as well as all of his motions to strike. Even though Ty and Nick talk, I doubt Ty tells Nick everything. Nick can't boomer it up and accidentally let something slip that he isn't aware of, after all. I can understand him not wanting to appear to optimistic, if for no other reason than not wanting to be a tool like Greg and his .01% chance predictions, but even odds seems too generous.

I'm leaning more towards most (or even all) of the TCPA motions being denied because I suspect that Ty's plan to challenge the constitutionality of the law as well as other arguments might lead the judge to deny all motions just to moot those arguments and avoid having to deal with them. There's also a domino tendency where because Ron's motion almost obviously should be denied, Monica's should as well (and I'm not even sure what their joint filing does in regards to this), and so on. Even though a judge should be impartial and not let that bias him, he's still human. Even people who are aware of cognitive biases and how they operate cannot fully escape them.

UnknownOtakuNeo/The Unknown Otaku (who is actually a transwoman IIRC based on me reading the bio on Twitter) was the one who sent out a couple of Super Chats to Rekieta a couple weeks back when KiwiFarms was having DDOS attacks for about a week with the CodyWasRight hashtag shortly after the whole RP thing involving SiH.

Reuben Langdon was at Anime Matsuri 2019 like Vic was too, so I am not entirely sure if they managed to connect with each other again as of recently after Langdon spoke up about Vic and after Vic filed a lawsuit against Moronica, Marchi and Funimation.

Interesting. So Caitlin Glass, who we can be pretty sure is really Vic's friend, has been liking the robotic "So proud of Rialism #metoo" crap, and just tweeted out to the whole Free! cast except Vic. She also liked tweets that defended her by saying that she's in a tough place and can't do anything but follow the party line.

This is interesting, because it's a definitive sign of just how much Sabat is muzzling his actors. Even people who are definitely pro-Vic are being forced to act 'neutral' and support kick vic vomit tweets/ignore Vic exists.

He and Langdon chatted for a bit while at Anime Matsuri. Not sure about recently, though.

Laura Bailey? But I'm already sick and tired of hearing her in shit

Didn't know she was acquainted with him.

Laura is married to Travis Willingham, both have been acquainted with Vic for years.

Not surprised with David Vincent. He had the choice to kick Vic off Unlocked (and separate Vic from even more of his fans), but he didn't do so.

Their relationship is complicated

I'd say acquaintances at best and not really close pals. Especially with current Vic being a bit more questioning about who he connects with.
Understandably so.
Having people you've worked with for 20 years suddenly stab you in the back leads you to question who you really can trust.

According to some people I've talked to and IIRC, Vic doesn't want Langdon to get involved in the Vic drama itself. (My memories is a tad bit fuzzy.)

It's fair, there's no reason to drag people into the drama when they can do little but get themselves in trouble and you've already got it handled. People like HH and etc don't have anything to lose, and Nick isn't in any danger, but dragging other people in with established bases and asking them to risk it for him isn't worth the minimal benefit that would provide.

I’m just gonna wait until a possible Round 2 before going off and saying Sabat runs things from the shadows due to lack of hard evidence. Also, if Sabat has this much power over Funimation, what are the chances that the other studios have similar situations?

Funimation has semi-unique origins. I'd be happy to find out that the Sabat Don stories are overblown and Nick is wrong, since I was a fan of Sabat before all this, but for now I'm just going off of what Nick and Ty have said. I'll be interested after round 2 to see if everyone's tones suddenly change when/if Sabat's knocked off his perch.

I see some familiar names. 🤔

Ignorance is bliss, but Sabat definitely is questionable in all of this. I hardly doubt it's a simple misunderstanding and even Vic couldn't say anything nice about Sabat. Personally, I don't care who does the VA as long as it doesn't make my ears bleed. Sabat can be replaced just like the rest of them. I think that reality might be starting to hit those VAs. If they were willing to off Broly that easily, why wouldn't Funi do it to the rest of them. Do these people not think about this stuff?
