What's the best thing you can make to impress someone with your mad cooking skills. Main dish, dessert, or w/e you have thats big taste

I'll go with Eggplant Parmesan. I'm borderline convinced you cannot get even decent eggplant parm in any chain / not incredibly expensive restaurant. The best I've ever had was in a 60$ a plate place and it was 5 or 6/10.

This shit takes fucking forever, has a unique skill to it that requires constant attention (if you are frying the eggplant in olive oil, and if you aren't you should KYS), NEEDs quality ingredient or it loses the magic, and is one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten.

My signature Granny Smith apple cheesecake brings a lot of smiles to the people I have served it, hasn't failed a single time I've made it for Christmas :)

Stuffed lamb hearts, because most people think it will taste offal.

Seriously though, delicious and looks great. Bonus points if you cook for a romantic St Valentines day dinner.
I've never even heard of such a thing. Sounds wild I definitely want to learn how to make them!

mmmmm Apples incorperated inside or topping? well made cheesecake never fails

Eh, I wouldn't say impressive per se, but definitely the meal I bust out if I want to make food for a lady or something.

My mom taught me how to make her spaghetti that she's made my whole life. None of that Ragu shit. She made the sauce from scratch and lets it simmer for a few hours to get that amazing flavor.

I think the recipe is originally out of a late 60s Betty Crocker cookbook or some shit. There are many things I still need to learn from her. German mom's are insane at cooking.

I'll post the hearts on the recipe thread later.
Roast leg of lamb studded with rosemary and garlic is a great crowd pleaser: serve it with dauphinoise potatoes, wilted spinach and red onion marmalade. Rosemary and onion gravy. Fuck I'm hungry now.

Never made rosemary gravy, that sounds real easy to go way to hard on rosemary, that shit overpowers EZ.

I've gotten a lot of positive feedback for my steaks and my alfredo sauce, but they're really not that hard.

I can do some interesting stuff with paprikash-ish dishes.
