They certainly gave her relatively free reign over what she ate, but I think they were probably "critical" because Krystle was having a weight issue and Hamber wasn't helping matters. It's telling that Krystle lost weight and has managed to keep it off from the last we've seen which has admittedly been a minute.

I'm sorry but this isn't true either. Amberlynn's one "chore" was to feed the animals and all she'd do was dump half a bag of food out on the countertops at 2am. On fucking paper plates because she was too lazy to wash pet dishes. Oh, it was also her "chore" to let the dog out to shit/piss, but she didn't bother doing it half the time and so the dog would shit in the garage. Amberlynn talked about having chores, but aside from a handful of staged shots showing Amberlynn rinsing out a fucking mug or whateer, the only chores she ever really showed were being done by Krystle.

Wayyyyyy back in her 2014 vlogs, Amber alluded to Krystle needing+wearing a brace in her youth for a while (Amber called it a cage or something, I think) after a major surgery. Luckily for Krystle, she never found it after that. I'll be fucked to find it, but I remember it being clipped into one of Petty Politics' compilations.

It could be that Krystle had serious health issues that made her parents hyper-vigilant and coddle her. I figured Krystle and her family began to see through Hamber's manipulative horseshit and psychological warfare and kicked her ass to the curb. Then again, she was still sharing a bed with Krystle after they officially broke up (she would repeat that off-putting behavior with Destiny). I know that Casey/Cassie claimed that Krystle would back him up in court if AL decided to go down that route with the whole abuse thing.

Krystle always struck me as someone who shouldn't have been pulled into Hamber's gas giant orbit to begin with. Like she was just targeted because she was easy prey. In my heart of hearts, I don't believe that Hamber really felt anything for Krystle (much like Casey and later, Becky), as she was a means to an end. However, Krystle didn't really seem like Hamber's "type" either. Our gorl likes the overweight studs, mixed in with a bit of autism Chris Griffin and skater boi. Krystal didn't meet Destiny first. AL met Destiny on some app, after Krystal dumped her (AL). Destiny was engaged to some chick, who lived in California, at the time.

Someone can have disordered eating without an eating disorder. The difference between anorexia and BED is while most people’s are comforted by putting things in their mouths, think thumb sucking as a infant. Anorexics are distressed by it and comforted by keeping things out of their mouths. It’s also not a binge if you eat like that every day.

Despite being in foster care, she had a great foster family who she used for extra lunch money. She claimed she only had one outfit but photos from that time show she was well dressed and wearing trendy things despite her size.

But the difference between an eating disorder and simply having disordered eating patterns is the same as any mental illness: the patterns impact your ability to live a healthy functional life. Only then is it necessary to diagnose someone, as diagnosis is meant to be the first step in recieving specialized treatment (which she refuses anyway). This is why self diagnosis is useless, it doesn't bring you any closer to getting professional help.

I think it goes without saying that hamber cramming food into her maw impacts her ability to live a functional life. Therefore she has an eating disorder, no matter how lazy or impulsive she is.

Gorl you have no idea. According to Amberlynn, when Krystle broke up with AL one thing she said was that she had "fallen out of love" with Amberlynn THREE YEARS PRIOR. For three fucking years she spent all day and night with Amberlynn and wasn't even into her. And we thought Rickie was averse to confrontation...

It makes me wonder about AL's message to Kasey claiming "you're the only one I ever let touch me." Maaaaaybe, it was actually Krystle who refused to go there with Hamberlynn.

Personally (speculation situation), I don't think Krystle ever loved her. Cared about her as a friend, sure. Felt guilty, definitely. But I believe Amberlynn tricked Krystle with fat-girl angles. Krystle would've known she was fat obviously, but not 400 pounds fat. When Krystle flew out to Arizona and actually met Amberlynn in person I think she was horrified at her size. But she was too afraid to end things so the relationship continued long distance. and not long after that, AL called Krystle in Virginia and claimed that she was being abused and that Kasey's mother's boyfriend was threatening to kill her. Amberlynn gloated that she was "on a flight the next day." Krystle and Krystle's parents bought it hook, line and sinker.
