he does realize that voice acting is literally the minor leagues and they don't make that much, right?
It’s all a matter of perspective. I mean compared t what he makes VA’s are celebrity gods. I mean they make more than a master barista at Starbucks! That’s not just a job! It’s a career!

So all this recent drama of vic being a diva and yelling at some pregger is because todd talked the AMV staff into fucking with his panel where he was showing a LOTR parody he worked on for a couple of months? This is the reach they are going to try to smear Vic? If anything this show staffers fucking with Vic being a recuring theme and explain the Diva behaviour ive been hearing about. Seriously, maybe if cons took their job seriously or would get volunteers that werent asshat like manjawllo maybe Vic wouldnt have to yell at staff.
Yeah. A small pattern is starting to form that the reason Vic was such a diva all the time at conventions was because con staff and volunteers liked to fuck around with him and his panels a lot because they heard he was a bad, bad man so they thought that gave them justifiable reason to act like pieces of shit.

Vic has a host of other talents he can do as he's demonstrated many, many times. He doesn't need to be a VA to have a successful career doing something. But he prefers being a VA despite the low pay because he loves being a VA. He thinks it's fun, he loves his fans, he loves how dedicated they are toward the things they love, he loves to make them happy and he loves putting smiles on their faces. This isn't some job that he slogs through because he feels like he has no choice. He loves what he does, he loves the community and the reason he's fighting back so hard in the lawsuit is because he still wants to be a part of that community and the thought of it being violently ripped away from him hurts him on a fundamental level.

I don't post often my opinions because my English isn't the best, but I must ask:
Why do so many people believe that Monica and Jamie won't be hired by the industry anymore?
There must be a reason Funimation didn't say anything then Monica and co. cited Funi's tweet as proof of Vic's alleged misconduct.
I'm also 99,99% sure they didn't produce the full discovery to cover for people like Sabat under the promise to work as a writer or something similar with a pseudonym for them, and I would bet that Monica and co. will perjury themselves to cover for them.
They might not get spotlight as VA anymore, but they will be sent to events or cons because of people like Sabat and get work.

Probably because they just cost Funimation millions, and may even have destroyed the company going forward.

Would you hire that person?

Naturally that's the worst case scenario but it can't be denied that the two of them have poured plenty of gasoline onto this bonfire. The two of them sound like a PR nightmare if they're responsible for falsely accusing someone of a crime and hurting a company or two (Monica has worked with Roosterteeth).

Irrelevant nonsense, but I found some more Soye fanart.

He does remember it now - I updated my original post (dunno if anyone gets notified of this sort of thing, so I'm notifying)
I could have a keyboard with nothing but Xes on it and roll my head on it at the speed of light for a billion years without expressing one trillionth of how much I doubt that.
I wonder if the pregnant lady in question was even showing clear visible signs she was pregnant. That may also be why Vic can't remember yelling at a pregnant lady, I mean when I think of pregnant lady I think a lady showing clear signs she is pregnant.

It depends how you look at it. A serious buisness is going to look at the situation and ask "Is it worth potentially dragging my company into a Funi style lawsuit if these women decide to #metoo somebody and it's all a lie?"

Monica Rial or Jamie Marchi are niche market players AT BEST. Their names are not going to attract someone to an anime over any number of other VAs. They arent Tom Cruise or Arnold Shwartzeneger level. They cannot bring anything irriplacable to my production/product. As such, their value to me as a business/employer is nominal. Add in their Funi lawsuit idiocy and they arent darkening my door, ever. Too much risk for no reward.

Now on the other hand, If I'm a woke company, sure, I'll hire her to show solidaridy with the whamminZ and current year Orange man BAAAAAdddd slobbering. It will not matter that they have become very toxic properties with the fanbase I want to consume my product and I will not care that I'll lose sales, as politics, not profit, is what matters.

However, that only happens once, maybe twice, then I'm out of business.

Vic's Lord of the Rings parody completely undermines the claim that conventions didn't want to show his Fullmetal Fantasy fan film because it was "unlicensed". Lance Heiskell was shocked that Aniplex didn't care.

Who the fuck is this? Christ these worms just crawl out of the woodwork. And it's yet another thing where this idiot, whoever it is, is angry that someone else wasn't angry about something. Fuck every single one of these people.

Also how the fuck was this pinhead "tricked?" "Hey mind if I borrow that?" "Sure." Where's the fucking trick you cocksucker?

And pigs fly.

There is literally nothing on Ellation's website about the show anymore. Or any other site Warner owns.

The rumor I heard was that Warner simply unceremoniously fired all the dangerhairs set to work on it. There was indeed a layoff after the purchase went through.

Re: High Guardian Spice. Supposedly a lot of the staff posted farewell posts on their twitter accounts back in May. When I did a search, the only one I saw still talking about the show being a thing was the amorphous genderless blob that wrote the original Tumblr webcomic, and a lot of that was it replying to farewell tweets.

Basically, they filtered a bunch of money to a bunch of Dangerhairs and got nothing out of it other than woke points and the warm feeling of having paid the danegeld this year, so they don't have to deal with being called bad names by idiots on twitter.

As an aside, when I searched for HGS just now on Twitter I was reminded that Thundercats Roar was supposed to be a thing, too. And it's vanished off the internet completely, too.

... That Obama era "anti" propaganda bill that was funding most of the online woke journalists like Buzzfeed News and HuffPo, it ran out earlier this year. Was it also funding the Woke Cartoons industry, by any chance?

Eww! Lance looks just like a comic book villain.

I'm shocked no one at the KiwiFarms compare him to hammerhead? Weird we always make memes on people's looks. Oh, well. I guess it's just me.

With him doing 25+ conventions a year, I wonder how often this stuff happened. Rumors flying around, convention staff with attitudes, convenient mishaps... Anyone dealing with enough of that shit is going to boil over at some point.

But as your face approaches lightpseed, the pressure needed to press the Xs approaches infinity. Thus you'll never have enough doubt.

I'll watch it in full later, but I skimmed through it and it looks pretty nice.

Vic as a midget :story:
For what it's worth I think the production value alone on these is impressive. Not a fan of LOTR but hearing that Vic went to the effort he did makes this kiwi have all the feels.

Was there a reason he only ever made two con visits (2006 and 2010) to NZ or was it merely a case of cost/invites/other obligations? Either way, much love to pass on.
Likely his absence to any more NZ cons than that had to do with invitation or other obligations. Cons pay all expenses...so it could have been a cost issue for the con

Indrectly, yes. Because it was those Obama-paid 'journalists' that pushed for wokeness in comics, anime and Hollywood. The result can be seen in ResetEra, Chick Thor and flat women in burka-like attire now populating entertainment.

Musical chairs with funding. Those journos got the cash from Barry, but the woker than thou got the cash from people stupid enough to pay for the product... twice. Once with their ticket/comic/anime purchase and once more with their taxes.

Guess who the joke is on? Remember! Vote Democrat for more folks!

Okay, semi unrelated subject. Remember when Jamie being the dumb cunt she is, decide to play High and Go Seek with the Process Server? Will that affect the judge's decision if she should get a TPCA or not? Just asking.

That won't be a factor in the TCPA ruling.

I think any issues surrounding her dodging service were mitigated when she filed her response earlier than she had to. It's doesn't really matter anymore.
