So the whole gang got together to swap Vic stories on twitter. They were talking projectors and fan films and this person explained what really happened between Todd and Vic.

Watch as this house of cards immediately falls apart with simple fact checking.

Wow. "I only heard about it from second-hand sources"
You don't say?

The more familiar you become with Japanese the less magic the subs have.
I actually think the opposite. I know most of the quirks you mentioned and have a rudimentary understanding of the language. Personally I think "eto..." sounds nicer than "umm..." It's why Japanese end many English words with an "o" sound because they don't have an "uh" sound. American kids are taught (for example) that a B is pronounced "Buh", but Japanese doesn't have hard consonants, so things flow more smoothly.

I'm not saying one is inherently superior to the other, dubs of at least the last 15 years are largely quite good. Again, for me personally, whichever one I hear first will almost always imprint as "correct". For me personally, I generally prefer the sub because as a CrunchyRoll subscriber, it's usually the one that's available soonest, and I don't want to pay for a half dozen different services just so I can get access to every company's dub.

I know, wasn't trying to criticize you. The court filing thing is just the one that slowed me down the most as I do posts from multiple devices where I don't have them downloaded.

What I think we need is something additional to the lawsuit thread, which should remain focused on the suit and law specifically. A list that tracks all the stories that are still being thrown around on Twitter, without entering the lawsuit yet. Things like Bret Weaver's "confirmation" of the 2007 Mari Iijima stalking incident, which then got disproved by pictures from the panel.

That probably won't ever make it into an affidavit in the lawsuit, but it's worth keeping track of as we continue to pick apart Lynn Hunt's affidavit, plus her 3-4 friends online who keep trying to confirm it. Right now a lot of that debunking is happening in Lynn's thread, and only some of it makes it over here, and probably none of it will make it into the lawsuit thread (unless BHBH uses it to attack the affidavit directly).

So, between this thread, the lawsuit thread, and the weekly summaries that get posted, I don't know if people would consider a dedicated allegations list to be redundant. If not, I can start putting one together and let people rip it apart for insufficient autism. I don't want to split up the discussion even further, but a centralized list with links to other threads, keeping minimal discussion on the contents itself (similar to the Doxemon thread), could be useful.

A centralized archive for the claims would be helpful. If someone says "there are allegations online" I want to be able to smack them with "dream rape, bitch" and throw the archive at them.

I spent half an hour trying to find the archive of that. I'm guessing I'm an idiot because someone will grab it in 5 seconds.

The whole reason I suggested it was so that we didn't have to dig through so much to find the information and so it's all consolidated into one space where it's easily accessible.

And I figured that having the debunks be in the OPs for the topics would evade the issue of digging through exploding threads. I guess I'm just not that concerned about consolidation, but I also think that consolidation may be unwieldy if the post turns out to be absolutely massive.

Also my autism may have played a factor. May have.

Is autism just an attribute everyone has, here?

Watch as this house of cards immediately falls apart with simple fact checking. This results in the story teller admitting that they heard about it second-hand.

"Well, at least ACen was freed of the scourge of Vic after 2010 after he was banned over 8000 times!

...except for that time two years after when he came back.

...and the time he came back six years after that.

Well, presumably, he was kept on a tight leash... even though not even Lynn attests to a Vic incident that would necessitate even that much at ACen '08."

Lynn: "See?! We're not lying, we're not lying, you just gotta look at the pattern of all our different stories that could have as well been fabricated after we colluded with each other in our DMs!"

*person delivering the story admits that they heard it second hand*

ljmontello: "You see you guys, we're ttotally not lying. Me and my two friends all claim to have heard rumors about some things that we can't remember any specifics about and are super vague, but they totally happened and the fact that our group think bubble reinforces itself proves that it's got to be true."

Hello Kiwis! I did a thing! Here is the link! I hope you enjoy it or at least find it interesting! 🐧 🐙

"Hey we got an affidavit from this Faisal guy."
"We should put that in. There is no way it's going to piss off someone who is more charismatic and better at PR relations than him."
"There is no downside to this plan!"

I don't know why I didn't think of this until now. IIRC, convention staff doesn't have the power to ban people because they are mostly non-profit organizations that run events open to the public. They can make suggestions to the hotel or convention association, but even that is a long shot. They are required to find alternate ways to list their staff members into similar groups like "Public Safety" as opposed to "Security" because they aren't the ones who are fulfilling the job.

For example, if you've ever been to a con, when a noise complaint is filed because you're partying too hard, it is always the hotel staff or a member of the convention association that shows up to tell you that you're being too loud. If you are misbehaving, you can be approached and reported by staff to security or law enforcement. They can't actually walk you out or ban you. They can keep an eye on you and you can be asked to leave if you misbehave. However, if you refuse to leave, you will be escorted by actual security or law enforcement for trespassing. (Similar to Dom Skye's interaction at Kamehacon)

I'm no law guru, but if anybody can chime in, it would be an interesting talk.

Atlas already has a two tier class system. Quite literally as Atlas hovers above Mantle. They already showed how screwed up things are when Adam took off his mask and revealed a brand with "S.D.C" (Schnee Dust Company).

Why the hell do they have a branding iron ready for use.

I get the vibe that Winter will follow Ironwood anywhere. And Ironwood was paranoid, being especially touchy about Cinder infiltrating the CCT tower and losing his ships. I doubt that they'll have to create a new character for worrying about security.

Those spergy fans that make two hour videos is the reason I'm reluctant to talk about RWBY.

It's like Rooster Teeth, and RWBY in particular, got all the people who were too autistic for Tumblr, 4chan and Reddit.

Let the shit posting begin.

I will give Shane the nepotism and clique culture. But it sounded like if Shane was running the show, he would have done the volumes without editing Monty's notes. "Monty's will be done!"

Monty was wildly creative but I think he and CRWBY vastly overestimated how much could be done in a volume. And Shane would have just went with it.

Jaques will probably be in jail for formenting a revolt.

Welp. Gotta Google that.
Alright, I am going to need to put my foot down and yell at @feral cat #6385 for starting this autism handout if we talk about RoosterTeeth or any of its properties. I'm not MindlessObserver, but the point remains that this shit is relevant to the WeebWars much like how this fucking woketard warren runs deeper and intertwined than we think it goes. While High Guardian Spice is offed like the sick dog that it was, you can't deny that there is something going on down in RoosterTeeth HQ out in Texas as well, and that they are still writhing and trying to have some kind of influence in the "american anime industry", or whatever metaphorical barely bacterial forms of life that exists in the primordial soup considers themselves as such.

Sure, RWBY is barely anime due to it being 3D Custom Girl Machinima whose creator is now in the grave, but again, they're partying with lesbians and woke manlets peeing and having orgies on his grave and trying to make ecchi/fujoshit bait shit out of it, and it's not so much that other than them rallying "believe womyn" and trying to attract other fujoshi hellspawn to its spectacle while hoping to offer Vic as a moral sacrifice like Funimation did, but they're sure trying to break into trying to "match Japan to be a part of its anime industry" or whatever other nonsense bullshit they want to spread their woke SJW pandemic to. I wouldn't turn my back on these assholes as much as me and hating ANN are synonymous with each other. Stay vigilant; it's not over until it's over.

Here is the stream that Nick did regarding Rooster Teeth.

Most of it is stuff I had figured would get sued. Since I'm not a lawyer, that leaves me ambivalent about how accurate it is.

A quick run down.
-Monica was employed by Rooster Teeth and might be in the same situation as Funimation.
-Miles Luna has tweeted "we know the real Vic Mignogna" and "I will speak up if my friends are being harassed on a daily basis." Since Miles is head writer and at one time director of their shows, this makes him a "vice principle." (He essentially had decision making power.
-Shannon McCormick's tweets about Vic being capped off with "I sign contracts with Rooster Teeth."
-Jen Brown retweeting the IO9 article and saying "He's guilty and please believe victims."
-Funimation could potentially have sent a message to Rooster Teeth saying "We have a lot of overlapping voice talent. You will hear that we are letting Vic go. We are just confirming that." That could be conspiracy depending on how the timeline is and what was said in the communications.
-Nick supposedly has a source from inside Rooster Teeth that suggests the voice actors all came forward at the same time to complain about Vic, lending to a conspiracy.

This is a few months out of date though. Recent information may contradict Nick's theorizing. Also we need not get into anything regarding Rooster Teeth until the TCPA is settled.

The point is that if discovery starts up again, Rooster Teeth is going to have a bunch of YouTubers and Kiwi's picking through their documents.

If BHBH ever gets to a proper discovery phase, the autistic shitstorm it kicks off will make debunking affidavits look like a placid Victorian garden party.
