To preface the entirety of what I'm about to lay down, this is pretty much my first post/thread out here, and while I've done some research, I'm still rooting through Twitter and other news bits to really dig into this and pull out something meaningful to share with everybody. I apologize for the blundering to follow.
...Anyway. Who even IS Caiden Cowger, besides someone whose name lends themselves well(or poorly) to a thread around here?
Caiden Cowger is the sixteen-year-old "CEO and Founder" of the Caiden Cowger program, and according to his website, "America's most listened to teenage political host". Lots of competition there, I've heard. He is also a born-again Christian, a proud, proud Republican, and hails from West Virginia.
The Caiden Cowger program is Mr. Cowger's very own radio show. I don't have extensive access to the entirety of the program, because there's a $4-per-month paywall to access the show, but there are snippets of it on Youtube, which is how I discovered Caiden Cowger to exist. In particular, the videos in which Mr. Cowger (henceforth referred to for the sake of typing less as CC) makes the statement that Obama makes children gay, which caused him to have a brief media awareness burst, getting him grilled from some people a lot bigger than he is. TYT, and Bill Maher, are two of the most easily notable people included in that.
What's fun on top of this is CC could also be classified as "anti-bully" - if the bullies were liberals and he was the only one who needed to be saved. He responds to the Turks and Maher personally in his show, calling them out. He also likes to take calls on his radio show, and he'll debate to the death against Liberals and Socialists. He hates homosexuals (the sin though, not the people!!) and he'll call Obama anything from a dictator to a traitor to a gay-maker.
Where he really shines, I feel, though, is his Twitter - a lot of his tweets end up being arguments against the people who actively rally against him, and while he isn't as active as he was back in 2012 when he had his 15 minutes, he's still regularly tweeting and his Youtube account's last video was posted only a month ago from this date.
He also has himself a metric boatload of media presence: on top of a paywalled radio show, he has himself a news site and a pseudo-TV show on Roku (which seems to be some streaming-to-TV service.) His columnists on his own website include Bryan Fischer, someone kicked out of the AFA for being TOO uberconservative, what appears to be some of his high school buddies, one of his teachers, and a basketball mom.
So there's my swing(and a miss) at trying to contribute to the forums after my months or so of lurking. It's probably shit, but I posted here partially because the people here are much better at this than I am. If I've just pointed out the typical Republican-with-ego, just one that has a bit more media presence and attention drawn to him, then I dunno, whatever.
