In fairness, Hotwheels did allow that board to exist for about a year before the new owners cleaned house, but the backstory is very interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if they had their own more personal reasons for collecting questionable content.

It's strange but Resetera is the most influential gaming forum.

OK, so I'll try to explain; even I don't know all of the details for myself, but months before Etika killed himself, the guy was acting very strange. I don't recall too well, but it sounded like he wasn't too much the usual self, whatnot with him being admitted to hospital for mental health. When the news first appeared about a month or two before his death, Resetera users who saw the thread about Etika said shit about him, like 'fuck him', and 'he's retarded'; they thought that Etika was just doing public stunts in order to get attention.

But after he actually committed suicide, on the new thread about his death, peoples were sad for his death. Even some peoples who previous shat on him due to his stunt cried a bit about his death; the peoples who first shat on him and then became sad due to his death are really stupid.

It's almost like they didn't care about that public stunt, they have never shown compassion for that guy when he was admitted to mental hospital, they just shat and talking bad about him. They ignored the fact that he had a serious issue, a really serious one that would be fatal...

Not much to say just the Ion Fury rage is still going, though dying down.

The game is however on the 7-8th page of the global best seller chart on Steam. This is very very sad for such a promising game. It goes to show that Get Woke Go Broke does happen contrary to what some very out of touch leftists or contrarians claim.
They really could have avoided this but they chose not to. I also heard some very...awful, rumors which I am not allowed to actually talk about yet. But it sounds like the company and developers are fucked.

Also some have suggested that they caved in due to the fact they want to release the game on consoles. Though I sorta doubt this and think it's more likely the PR is out of touch.
