Article 8-23-19: Yaniv charged with Weapons Possession - Due in Surrey Provincial Court 12-5-19

Even documentary evidence that doesn't need a witness, like stuff you get from an MLAT is attached to a government office that can provide a witness to analyze it. (From my experience)

Do you know how long it would take the RCMP to get Yaniv's Facebook data? Do they ask Facebook Canada or does it go through MLAT? How long would it take the RCMP to go through that data and see if Yaniv is guilty of child luring?

Would they even prosecute him for that?

According to Facebook, it looks like it'd be through an MLAT. If the victims came forward and the RCMP was willing to go forward with the charges, they'd likely have to have the victims testify by video link, to shore up any documentary evidence, given that any good defence lawyer could spin the wording enough that there's reasonable doubt.
Any sort of luring charge is relatively hard to make stick unless it's really cut and dry.
Only way I'd think they'd even try is if the victims have sent in reports and have follow up interviews with them. We'd have to have officers that actually gave a damn, and a Crown that really gives a damn to keep trying for something that's known for being comparatively difficult to make stick.
Fingers crossed, but I wouldn't hold my breath, to be honest.

Canada is huge on privacy. You cant look up their mugshots like I hear you can in the US and believe me if John was charged there is a mugshot and fingerprints just they will never see the light of day unless you are professionally involved in the case. But leaking that loses your 6 sometimes 7 figure job.

Also like how you called them the blue shirts. You know how it is lol.

Bingo, they won't see the light of day, outside of the people who work there laughing their asses off at Johnny's wig and gunt.
And hey, I've never heard anyone actually say "Court security officer" if they work in the field, haha.

Exactly. No cameras in the court. But I really want to see a sketch artist rendition of yaniv in court... lol WGKitty got time?... all cameras wait out front but if you request they will probably take you out the back lying in the back seat of a squad car so you cant be photographed and taken to a safe location by police after your case just cause they dont want any more extra work by having some big scene in the front of the courthouse.

Get @AbraCadaver to do the court sketches. She has a way of capturing Yaniv in her artwork.

I really, really doubt he's going to go to jail. He's already ultra litigious and a member of a protected class. Trying to manage which jail he goes to is a lose-lose for the Canadian taxpayer: he will claim assault and discrimination no matter which one they pick, and he's gonna waste a huge stack of taxpayer $ doing that, I promise ya. So a smart judge would skip the issue entirely and send him directly to probation.

News Now Canada Independent Media's intrepid reporter Donald, who was previously threatened by Yaniv is going to film him going into court.

"Everyone needs to show up to Surrey provincial court on December 5th to, err, deal with the pedo. Confront the pedo. And just, basically, go after the pedo because I'm gonna be there for December 5th. And that pedo wants to mace me? That pedo has a thing coming for them if that pedo tries to do anything to me. So just to let you know that pedo has court on December 5th at 9am and just be careful people. Don't let that pedo around your kids. They'll file a human rights complaint"

Donald needs to show up football pads, a helmet and a gas mask. In fact basically this, minus the gun

He may get a cowboy judge who does not give a fuck and remands him in to custody. They are few and far between, but they exist....

If you're in the halls outside the courtrooms, nobody's gonna stop you. Court staff won't give a shit unless you're being really obvious about it or if you're inside of a courtroom.

Camera's including smartphones/tablets..etc are not allowed in criminal court buildings in BC for use my the general public.

Lawyers and accredited media; are the only ones allowed to bring smartphones or other into criminal court buildings.

Not sure about smartphones in other provinces.

Could it be that this was scheduled so far out to allow shit to die down around JY organically? I mean, I see JY himself trying to pump his outrage value not even six weeks after the pub ban was lifted. If there's not a kiddy-diddler arrest publicized by Christmastime, if he loses at BCHRT, I think it's realistic that most of the outrage will have moved on.

I never said they were allowed, just that nobody's gonna stop them.
When you're in a criminal courtroom, the Court Services Officer at the door and the Judge's Deputy keep an eye on people to make sure nobody's got their electronics out. If a picture is taken, the Court Security Officer can confiscate the device and have you wipe it.
It's a bit different when you're in the halls outside of the courtrooms. A criminal courthouse, if it's the same out West as it is here, will be understaffed and the officers have to pick their battles. The only thing they can realistically get in shit for is if people are using electronics in a courtroom, because a Judge will complain.

Because of that, unless you've got someone who's a real stickler for the rules, you should be able to quickly pull out your phone and check something provided you don't draw too much attention to yourself and dress appropriately.

If someone were to do this to get a pic of Johnny in his sunday best for court...well, it may not be allowed, but I don't see anyone stopping it. ;)

To be honest, probably not. It's more than likely just due to the courts being really busy.

Now the question is will he make it to the court date 3 & a half months out?...Or reach critical mas & detonate prior to that?...It's just been over a month since the pub ban was removed & look at the shitstorm...... I'll lay 25:1 he's dug a way deeper hole with many more charges (if not institutionalized) prior to his court date.
Anyone making book? I'm in.
