Explanation?

I think it was from earlier and Lemonhead was saying a filing in Dallas contradicts everything Ty is doing and why he's going to lose or something like that. Ty pretty much said "Wrong court, dumbass" in the polite Beard way. I really only read Nick's Tweets and a couple others occasionally. I'm sure someone can find the original Tweet or a bunch of TwitLaw Circlejerk tweets.

If Ron and Monica haven't been keeping up with the bills, I wonder how much time their counsel will really put into it beyond what they've already done. Those TCPA dreams may have already become a ship that's sailed.

You have to wonder how much time they have already been putting into it? It’s clear Lemonfuhrer did absolutely not one minute of due diligence regarding the affidavits he submitted with his filings. Because they don’t stand up to even limited scrutiny.

Lemoine was screeching in triumph yesterday because the Dallas Court of appeals had struck down a constitutional challenge to TCPA. Ty is reminding him that his case isn’t IN the Dallas Court of Appeals jurisdiction.
Jesus Christ, he can't control a deponent, he can't breathe, he can't talk without sounding like he's on the verge of tears, he can't lift 20lbs, he can't make a motion to dismiss without 500 pages of meaningless or unrelated evidence, he can't pick up that motion to dismiss because it was too heavy, he can't walk without a cane, he can't win a fight vs a mosquito and now it comes out he can't tell which court made a ruling?

I'm beginning to think the only reason he's MoRonica's lawyer was because he paid them in order to promote his blog.

I can give them that dallas striking that down could give precedent for others to try, but I get the feeling the dallas decision may end up in the texas state supreme court eventually.

His blog post regarding it mentions that the Texas Supreme Court hasn't ruled on the argument, so it's still not settled at the moment. And he does mention that there haven't been any rulings in favor of the argument in any other districts either. What makes it funny, though, is that its clear from his wording in the blog post that he believes this case would go to the Dallas court of appeals, even though it wouldn't. Which seems like something an expert in TCPA operating out of Dallas would know.

I can only hope that: Casey snaps, tell MoRonica to go to hell, and gets into Nick's show to laugh at how absolute units these people are

Well he's not being paid, but if he did some youtube videos talking about everything behind the scenes and threw some ads on them he'd probably make some bank.

I honestly think after the trial is over they going to throw them under the bus and hopefully do a lawyers stream to talk about how stupid marchi, soye and Monica are. I highly doubt Casey and Lemonhead actually think they are victims they just want to get paid, which they are not.

Fuhrer West Nile is just as exceptional as his clients. No wonder Casey has gone silent.
I was assuming they dropped him after the whole "CARREY, YOU'RE A WOMAN, KNOW YOUR PLACE AND BEHAVE" thing because in a case like this that's not really the kind of thing you want your lawyer on record saying.

ETA: I've had a really fucking close listen to the deposition now to figure out what he had a bitch fit about. It sounds like Carrey said "He doesn't know much", I think Ty stifles a laugh, then she follows with "at all", and then Casey makes the sexist remarks to a sexual assault victim.

I think Casey is more worried about his future clientele being smart enough to do their due diligence on the lawyer they intend to hire. I have to think he, by now, realizes that the mob he catered to will do to him just as they have done to Vic unless he wins every single thing AND gets a death sentence for Vic, Ty and Nick.

And maybe do it to him anyway 'just in case.'

I would suspect Casey is using the excuse that LeWhiner is more experienced with the TCPA than him to leave as much of the work as possible(and the associated unpaid billable hours) to the Fuhrer. Probably while looking for good excuses to ask to be released from the case. I doubt MoRonica were very upfront or honest with him about what they'd done and what they were facing when he agreed to take the case. So unless they start coughing up much larger checks for him, he's got to be wanting to get out as soon as he can.

Is misrepresenting the situation not honestly a legitimate enough reason to excuse oneself from the case? I mean maybe at this point it is, but would that have been an option earlier?

I don't think he's going to want out until after the TCPA. If they lose TCPA, getting paid becomes exponentially harder. I think they're banking on winning, which is why they threw everything they had at it.

Everyone speculates that Casey wants out but they forget that Casey has his own exceptional filings. They're just overshadowed by the exceptionalnaught that is Lemoine's filings.
Indeed. However were they exceptional by his own hand or were they a lawyer doing what his exceptional client wanted regardless of any solid legal advice he may have provided? There is a possibility he made his filings thinking he was getting paid either way.
