I haven't even watched it yet, but judging from LordDarkrai's post, I can just tell that I am going to be groaning and facepalming through this. Kingdom Hearts II was fucking easy compared to the original Kingdom Hearts.

Spoiler: He played on Standard Mode, and made the game look like Dark Souls in difficulty.
I have never seen anyone die this much in a non-Souls game.

Holy fucking shit. I watched most of it, and I just... How the FUCK do you die against most of these bosses. Hell, he even had a fucking problem with most normal enemies because the lazy fuck didn't feel like grinding to satisfy the suggested level requirements for worlds. Literally the entire playthrough, he managed to fuck up spectacularly.
Oh, and bugged control responsiveness mechanics.
This is a game for 10-year-olds.
Edit: He just defeated Xigbar after managing to die God knows how many fucking times, and he gets the Oblivion Keyblade which he opts not to use in his standard form, instead equipping it to Master Form and equipping Two Become One as his main weapon. I can just imagine the wacky hijinks that will ensue as Phil attempts to go into literally any Drive Form and inexplicably goes into Anti-Sora. /sperging
Edit 2: Did he seriously not fucking complete any of the side missions? This is Final Mix, Phil, there's more shit to do! I would have loved to see him deal with the entirety of the Cavern of Remembrance, because he would have ragequit due to the ramped up difficulty of the enemies, and the Mushroom Organization XIII. /megasperging

What a shame, DSP had the easiest gimmick in the world to exploit if he could have taken a joke at himself at all. Hell, wouldn't even need to change anything, just play games and yell about bugs and die a lot and fuel tihydp videos, maybe even officially host them as a highlight reel with permission. Literally all that'd be required is a spot of self awareness and not being an asshole off-camera.

I know nothing of KH2 because I only played up to the final dungeon of KH1 and that was it for the entire series. I'll try to watch it later though.

He had the hardest thing to get on Youtube, an audience, and he just threw it away. Crap gameplay aside, he needs to start realizing that less is more. No one wants to watch hours of this every day.

-Plays the Song of Time every time it reaches day 2
-Repeat failures of the Deku Palace stealth section

-Doesn't bother with the majority of sidequests

Anyway, if Phil has changed at all in the past few years. It has only been for the worse. I watched some TIHYDP's of his earlier playthroughs and for the most part, they weren't as bad. He wasn't complaining or bitching as much and it seemed like he was actually having some amount of fun.
From what I see in his later videos though, it feels like he's grown really impatient and bitter. And is ready to lash out at anyone who says so much as a negative thing towards him.

Unfortunately, i think it will not be that interesting of a playthrough, mainly because the difficulty was nerfed to hell in the remake.
From little things, such as reducing the speed of Zora Link (so you don't need as much precision), to making certain gaps easier to jump/fly... (they literally made sections that required precise Deku Link flying almost jumpable)
And they gave the solution to every sidequest in the journal (which is given to you by The Mask Salesman now so you cannot miss it! ) and the Sheikah Stones, not to mention giving the bosses giant eye weakspots for no reason.
Also permanent game saves so you can save scum easily.
And there will probably be more subtle nerfs along the way not yet discovered.
So yeah... i predict a borefest of a playthrough. I hate Nintendo retard-proof policy of dumbing down. But i guess kids these days are supposedly more retarded than before... (which is untrue).
Although if Phil manages to suck at the kid friendly dumbed down version of MM i will be pleasantly surprised.

He'd probably just rush right through it, completing the bare minimum of the sidequests that the game requires you to complete. Sure, he'll have a really hard time with Majora as a result of being a lazy fatass, but it's okay, because YOUTOOB MONAYZ.

Phil has finalized his list of 'perks' for his Patreon.
The best has to be that first perk. I don't know how he thinks its appropriate to ask for money to learn how to use some equipment he's had in his closet. What does Phil do in his free time? He streams for less than 8 hours a day (Also, setting up a green screen is really easy).
The idea of him trying to get back into competitive Street Fighter sounds great. I'd love to see him try to do it again plus the reaction of people at EVO and other such events would be incredible. I imagine Phil will set this goal unreasonably high though so I doubt it's gonna happen.
