Read Saul Alynski's "Rules for Radicals." Then it will make perfect sense to you.
One of the must reads if one wishes to get into the minds of these sociopolitical idiots that trot out their "causes".
Just watched EriMin's talk with Hero Hei and something that kind of stuck out to me was the fact that she completely moved out to Japan. I am wondering if Faisel? straight up lied in his affidavit hoping she would just stick to her side of the ocean and not give a crap on what is going on in the US.
Pretty sure that was the plan, but as most people here know, no plan survives first contact with KiwiFarms!

As for SJWs in anime, I really don’t see how. Granted, more and more recent anime are adding legit LGBT representation, but it’s done in a way that’s not as unbearable as Western media. For example, there were two trans characters in My Hero Academia; they were actually tolerable.
Trans in anime is always more tolerable because it's never realistic. Trannies in anime are always drawn as girls. except the ones used as jokes, so they just pass. It's one reason so many troons have delusions that they can just throw on a dress and become kawaii anime girls.

It is undeniable that X-Men has been in the shitter for a long while; my cut off was the Joss Whedon run. And Marvel is just barely crawling from wreckage that was the 2010s...and they’re only getting ahead because DC has been fucking up.

The gay/trans stuff in anime has been there from almost the beginning so that's not really a problem at all. There has always been a trap or an efeminate dude or a chick flooding her shorts over female senpai on the cheer/whatever squad. (see Gunbuster for a prime example in a non sexualized anime)It's what they DO with them. Now every alphabet character is all about the militant or Tumblrite agenda.

But going back, look how anime has been on an increasing curve of desexualizing. Look at even non sexual/borderline humor and how different it is today than in 2000, 2005, 2010. Look at the violence and gore. There are far fewer realistic to over the top depictions and more censorship to appease dangerhairs.

Actually the censorship has nothing to do at all with dangerhairs (remember, Japan is only progressive by East Asian standards. It’s still pretty isolationist) which is the downside of Japan being a conservative country. Whereas we deal with Tumbrlites, Japan is still dealing with angry parents mad about ecchi and the government trying to keep delinquency on the low. Go Nagai has actually spoken up against this since it was kind of shit he was dealing with since the 70s.
On that note, you still get stuff like Devilman Crybaby from the land of the rising sun.

Thats not a problem, really. The list of options that we have to choose from 'pre SJW" is far longer than any one person could deal with in several lifetimes.

I mean honestly, exactly what SJW era content is really that great? Where is the modern Evangelion/GITS? Where is the modern '1980s Terminator?" I mean has anyone SEEN Xmen lately in the comics? Who cares because Claremont had about a 20 year run to collect.

Fuck'em. Let it all crash and MAYBE something better emerges. Because until then, it's one big rotting shit sandwich.
Just pirate it then. Best way to separate the art from the artist.

It has EVERYTHING to do with the dangerhairs HERE because regardless of what Japan writes/animates, the dub translator/writers, editors and SJW staff determine what makes it to the localized product.

> Gunbuster
> Non-Sexualized

... I can't even say if that's correct or not.

Also Otaku in general are seen as degenerates by the Japanese. It's why anime about keeping a secret about being an Otaku exist. The more perverted stuff still pops up.

There's that one gruesome murder in 1998 that toned down the violence in a lot of anime.

Well again, that’s solely on the American side of things and as people pointed out, pirating is a viable option.

Bobobo's anime got cancelled because of soccer moms (the old school moral guardians) due to its violence. Killing Bites was a thing even in the modern era. You're starting to go full OAG man.

About the most you see is a t-shirt removed (and in locker room context no less) and the occasional bounce. So in comparison to most fan service type anime, say Cutey Honey or Misaki/Divergence eve, it's about as tame as it gets.

Desexualizing? I don't know how anyone could watch racy shows from the early 2000's and racy shows from today and conclude they're less sexualized. Nowadays, the ecchi shows are much more explicit, often bordering on pornographic.

Japan is interesting since where it’s at now is where America was in the 00s. The moral guardians are the PTA instead of neon haired social media users. Said guardians correlate violent crimes to consuming a certain problematic media. Gay characters are taken more seriously yet gay jokes aren’t completely frowned upon. It’s almost like going back in time.

DAAAAAAAAMAGE CONTROOOOOOOOOOOL.
He got found out so he's quickly moving to justify why he said it to mitigate the backlash.
No he made it worse by lying about why he said what he said, confirming the message and Dox and telling people where to get the Dox. In other words he was a dumbass.

No kidding. I don't remember unwittingly seeing full on female presenting nipple until Sekirei.

We must have watched different shows from the past.

The early 2000's was after the OVA market crashed and...well, some unfortunate things involving otaku happened in Japan. What ecchi anime there was contained fairly little nudity, if any. It started to change a bit in the mid-2000's, but nowadays you get stuff like Valkyrie Drive and Shinmai Maou no Testament, where female characters being brought to orgasm can be a plot point within the show.

I mean, if you wanna compare it to the late 80's/early 90's OVA boom, when rape was just sorta something they included for the hell of it, then yeah, I suppose it's tamer.
