Also, on the subject of trans anime characters, I'm pretty sure there was one in Hunter X Hunter

Killua's weird "sister."
Further Proof nuclear weapons were used too much or not enough. Also Hiatus X Hiatus has a famous "female" Cat Ant people insist has a penis.

There's also Crona from Soul Eater.

Crona's androgynous quality adds to the character. Abused as a kid by a parent who didnt care. Might be a girl who doesnt know how real people act or might be a boy that Medusa just dressed in girl clothes that were available. His inability to relate to people and being an outsider looking for a place to fit in is what makes Crona interesting.

Holy shit, Crona! I totally forgot about that guy. Dude’s a bitch. Though I don’t think the show or the manga author addressed Crona’s gender at any point. (Side note: Soul Eater is awesome. Watch it. Read it. Realize there’s a more than decent chance Maka Albarn can kick Ruby Rose’s ass).

I just read about Nick going off on Sabat, but now he announces this? Damn, I may have to stay up.
I was gonna wait till next week to come back here and get caught up, but I'm glad I decided to check today instead.
The Sabat rant from last night is required viewing. At one point Nick is censoring himself reading Sabat's messages, then 10 seconds later he is screaming calling him a little bitch. And the smug confidence he displayed while calling him out for an appearance on his show. Fucking epic. Watch it.

Oh, if you're including androgynous characters, there's Hange/Hanji from Attack on Titan. In the anime she's a girl, but in all other forms, the author refuses to confirm or deny their gender.

It has EVERYTHING to do with the dangerhairs HERE because regardless of what Japan writes/animates, the dub translator/writers, editors and SJW staff determine what makes it to the localized product.
Japan has had it's own moral guardians going back decades and as others have said the otaku murders have done more to tame anime over there then anything else.

You're giving sjws far too much credit dude, they aren't the Illuminati just a failed minority of obese loser college drop-outs who project their foulness onto others and play moral guardian because they can't live with their fuck ups.

They're the Fundies from yesterday but on the opposite end of the political spectrum.

If I'm 'giving SJWs far too much credit: then pray-tell how do you suppose a bunch of powerless nobodies managed to obtain the power they have on a global basis? Magic?

I bought the blu rays when they came out! Yu Yu Hakusho is fantastic and I’m glad I own the physical copies. I recently started a rewatch and it’s still good.

And I still can’t believe Vic is Bui. I remember when I first found that out it blew my mind because it sounded nothing like him.
One unique quirk I like about YYH that no one seems to talk about...Justin Cook's southern accent comes thru at times while voicing Yusuke. Try to remember if you caught the numerous instances of him pronouncing the word "him" as "eem".

"I got eem." "I didnt't wanna kill eem." Fitting for the Yusuke character, IMO. Also, i used to think Sabat's portrayal of Kuwabara was so annoying but now I think it might be one of his better roles as far as performances go. Even so, you can still hear him starting to sound more like Vegeta and Piccolo as the show goes on.

Ironically Kawabara was one of his roles that was my favorite because how much it was different from his standard Piccolo/Vegeta/Zoro he tends to do. It’s goofy for sure, but it fits Kuwabara. Also I love Justin Cook as Yusuke.

Same reason the Fundies had so much power only 20-30 years ago, because they're loud and companies/politicians still haven't figured out Twitter represents only a third of the population at best.

Hence why we have Trump and Brexit derangement and why "woke" media keeps failing.

But if they keep failing, who 'woke' the entertainment, education and news media? Who 'woke' multi-billion dollar transnational companies like Gilette/Proctor&Gamble?

For a bunch of loud failures, they seem to have been showing a whole lot of success.

I love this scene. Symbolizes why Kuwabara is just awesome.
