He probably "just" made it abundantly clear that he'd probably chimp out over Monica working with a coworker who she had a minor thing with a bunch of years back. Then Monica, as an abuse survivor, made shit up about how it was nonconsensual in order to not wind up the target of said chimpout. Not an outright case of knowingly forcing Monica to make shit up about Vic, more just the horrifying natural result of having anger management problems and dating an abuse survivor.

This is one of the few things in the case that only one side looks upon positively. The depositions, the hearings and the affadavits appeared to help both sides if you were on that side. Both kickvic and Istandwithvic viewed those things as victories but Ron being a abuser is something that only Istandwithvic views as a victory

Interesting theory

Also notice how ron and Monica s engagement seems kinda one sided what if he s abusive and her reluctance to go forward with getting married is because of that aka a form of appeasement.

His abusive nature might also explain why he s inserted himself so full into this so he can have some controll over it

They gave both sides shit to argue about but the only side they helped was Vic. The only reason law twitter thought otherwise is because they're dumb as a bucket of pig shit. Nothing came out of those depositions that has done anything but wreck the defendants' case and they would have been wise to do what a rational, non-insane litigant would have done and simply filed a TCPA motion immediately.

The decisions of the defendants aren't some 4 dimensional chess, they're the product of Ron Toye's diseased mind, and only law twitter could have interpreted behavior this crazy and counterproductive as remotely beneficial.

On the other hand maybe Ron wants the marriage because it bind her to him. In order for her to get away she has to go through a divorce whereas now she can leave pretty easily.

Also could this be the reason that casey has disappeared from the case did he learn of this stuff and nope the fuck out
