Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

A member of a group I belong to posted that she had lost weight and was now under 200 pounds. She mentioned being unsure about clothing size because she still had to mindset of being over 200 pounds. These are a few of the comments.

God what petty bitches. They should get over themselves. Sometimes it's not about you!
If they are like this in real life they end up fat and alone anyway. So far for being "supportive"

An admin locked the post. Another admin told her that she needed a content/trigger warning on the post. So many people ripped her apart for daring to be proud of losing weight. So many said they were triggered by her mention of being less than 200. One said that losing weight was an eating disorder.

"I'm over 300 lbs and happy as fuck" you clearly aren't if someone else's life choices make you sound this bitter, you silly bitch.

What a bunch of cunts. That poor girl probably worked really hard to get herself healthier and she gets attacked by a bunch of lazy cows. Why isn’t this seen as the same as drug addiction? Would you shame a crack addict for getting clean or screech that they are shaming other crack addicts and one is happy being a crack addict so it’s ok?

I don’t know why being a heffer is socially acceptable now. You can shame smokers and addicts all you want but say one thing about a person endangering their health with fat and everyone is triggered.

Ugh. This thread makes me MOTI like nothing else on the farms. Fucking crab bucket cunts can't handle the idea that other people want different things or have other priorities than them, and wanting to lose weight has literally nothing to do with any of them.

If they're so goddamn happy looking like miniature planets then it shouldn't matter that someone else isn't.

I mean... is it literally a fat acceptance group, or something similarly toxic? Because if it is then that's not surprising at all. If it's a weight loss group or just a general women's group or something then that's ridiculous.

Also aren’t all bodies supposed to be different according to these people? She should be able to argue that it’s great people feel ok at >300 lbs (even though we know that’s bs), but maybe she’s extra short, is older or has spine issues and so she feels bad over 200. But everything has to be so personal for these people.

Jesus Christ, imagine that mindset applied to everything: "Please add a TW/CW for career satisfaction. I'm glad you're feeling happy in your new job but when you mentioned being unhappy with the quality of their insurance benefits I went from being happy for you to feeling shitty because my part-time job doesn't offer insurance benefits at all."
