Weirdly I always assumed it would be Mark Waid that would publicly shit himself to spite us all in some weird performance art. Not that DC isn’t following closely in Waid’s batshit insane footsteps.

If my memory isn't failing me I remember Funi being quite butthurt over how ADV went about their restructuring, enough that they filed suit against them back in 2012 or so. Something also about how ADV sold a bunch of their licenses to Sentai for below market value and legal loopholes or something, it has been a while. I do wonder if there's still any bad blood between the two companies because of this.
