Wonder how much they make off that...

I remember the total being something like 5 figures a month before they hid it. That sounds like solid money, but assuming everyone gets paid etc it probably could get spread thin pretty easily.

Graphtreon estimates 4-20K:

Fairly certain Toei did not pay them for this type of stuff to be out and I am fairly certain they will not be happy knowing everyone knows all the DBZ characters want to do hentai. I am fairly certain someone is going to get reprimanded or fired. Just 1, not all. You can't expect Japan to be happy about all this
I'm glad that someone linked some Ghost Stories in here because that is some prime A example of how dubbing takes place over here in the US. For anyone that's never never watched original, subtitled Ghost Stories it's a standard by the book series. When it was brought stateside, however, it was not only dubbed but basically re-written into a comedy.
And the japanese found it hilarious.
A lot of people think Toei is gonna ape out. They're not. When it comes to anime the biggest complaints to come out of the East are censoring and westernization. One Piece on the ole' Fox Box was horribly butchered into a kid friendly Frankenstein's monster. Lupin the 3rd made references to Ebay and modern day events. Voltron couldn't have on screen deaths so characters just 'had to leave' and even Robotech is three different series forced into a slurry.
It's been mentioned in this thread that Toei isn't going to care as long as it doesn't affect the bottom dollar. This is in Funimation's court and it'll be up to them to fix this. So either they'll roll with this be be like 'lol out silly voice actors goofed' or 'heres some lukewarm apologies' and be done with it.

Why the hell are you comparing a mediocre anime to fucking DBZ?

Didn't the anime of Ghost Stories utterly fail in Japan to the point the company that owned the IP gave the dubbing company full permission to rewrite it how they saw fit?

I genuinely don't know how much ground is left to function as footing for these dumbasses.

This case and situation has been the absolute prime example of Murphy's Law.
More like karma. Vic seems like a genuinely good, God-fearing man (if not without his own flaws), and look where he is.

Funimation is a pit of vipers, and the comedy won't stop coming.

That was what I always heard. That and the actual story didn't make a lick of sense either.

Shout out to all my Ghost Stories peeps, the GOAT English dub; the first Abridged series except actually full length.

I saw the 4 minute clip. Here is a 24 minute video. Remember that this is not a parody but the actual official English dub.

*glorious feelgood music rises in my heart*

I have no greater regret then only getting into this drama a proverbial five minutes ago.

This whole schebang is a literal goddamn Wagnerian opera of squealing autism and scummy hypocrites getting exposed

I may have gotten my Anime History degree from Clown College but I think the changes had more to do with The Japenease version of Ghost Hunters involving Yokai, Oni and the like, therefore when it got Dubbed they tried to change it from "Scarey Weeb Anime shit" to "Wholesome Western Christian stuff" because in the 90s nobody knew what the fuck a Kappa was.

Other than the DBZ Audio drama, I can see the other files being outtakes/bloopers, especially ones that were too saucy (The Krillin one is the tamest). The Audio drama was however, deliberately a thing made for shock, and that offends me more than anything, using company time and resources for this kind of thing.

The DBZ Audio drama just reeks of "Secret Missing Episode." You know, those vids with text to speech where you had to be like 1231898 years old, and had to be this much of a fan, and it'd start out with a character introducing themselves, and then stating they're "really really gay" and then fuck another character who states the same? Yeah, those ones. I also can't help but laugh at the implication that Chi Chi got fucked by Gohan while he was fucking dead.

I'm not sure wanting to make love to a rabbit is good Christian fun. That includes the Easter Rabbit.

Honestly who knows how they will act, I mean Miyazaki had his overseas ban after Nausicaa got cut to bits and took Lassiter and the Mouse to break that ban.

Gonna have to disagree with you at that mate. Then again Guru raping a child is so something Toei Animation supports I get what you mean....................

The Mouse also censored one of Miyazaki's films and the studio mailed them a samurai sword 'insisting' that they refrain from cutting their work; the film in question is the one with tanukis and their massive testicles.

How many moral arbiters of humanity are going to be so disgusted with these leaks that they'll just up and leave anime alone forever?
this will just reinforce them wanting to cleanse the community more so then ever. I would say pirate but alot of the cucks like mothers basement and pedantic romantic are whores to crunchy roll
