Going through random Texas VA twitters regarding the Funileaks

Nothing: Ricco Fajardo, Dawn M Bennett, Kristen McGuire, Bryn Apprill, Brittney Karbowski (made pro-defendant tweet during the Dallas News story), Jill Harris, Michelle Rojas, Matt Shipman, Brittany Lauda, Josh Grelle (breached at KamehaCon), Amber Lee Connors, Howard Wang, Justin Briner, Madeleine Morris, Mike McFarland (wanted Vic gone), Brina Palencia (pro-defendant tweet during Dallas News story), Amanda Lee (the youtuber Amalee, not penguin-molesting Amanda Winn Lee), Elizabeth Maxwell (worked on STC), Colleen Clinkenbeard (wanted Vic gone), Leah Clark , Sarah Wiedenheft (breached at KamehaCon).

And then my boredom became to great and my autism ran out.

Leah Clark (said Vic's a predator of Weinstein proportions) didn't have anything on the leaks, but had this:

Otherwise, strangely no one's talking about it. Pointedly so.

To be fair, Maxwell pretty much peaced the fuck outta Weeb Wars hella early (Even being Pro-KickVic) due to Monica and Jamie’s dipshit antics~ Gotta say, surprised that the Terri Dotty bitch, Tatum, Puss Puss Seitz, or Cuck Briner haven’t said anything on the matter.

But hey, the little drones are too chicken to defend this shit, lest they lose whatever goodwill they sold out to the NPC Crowd and Monica isn’t offering too many good rewards.

*Do Ron harm*

Honey, Ron did more harm to his ex-wives whom he acted like a human shitbag towards; Please, get your ass back into that pit of irrelevance because I still don’t know who the fuck you are.

LOL your avatar lines up with the tweet so hilariously.

Odds that MoRonica's legal team will try argue against letting him file it?
I don't know if they're going to be all that willing to use up what little good will they may have with the judge by arguing against a filing that's late due to technical issues. But, considering how assblasted their attorneys must be at this juncture, I give it a 20% chance they try it.

Edit: scratch that I have a touch of the tism this evening (I now assume Ty was just toying with the tards)

The silence has been deafening today. It's hilarious how all the totally not employees of FUNi don't have a thing to say about this controversy. Gee, it's almost as if funimation didn't want them commenting on it. That's just me speculating, but man is it weird that not one has something to say.

The only thing i did find that may be of interest came in the form a 'LIKE' on Twitter from Sean Schemmel. Unfortunately, went to archive his likes I was experiencing problems, and when I checked his page in another browser the tweet he liked was no longer showing up in his likes page. However, I did get a screenshot of it, for what it's worth.

Kind of FUNi how your 'LIKE' just disappeared, Sean

The weird thing is they're particularly engaged about this... FSE is making a LOT of casual tweets as if they're already set for it. I wonder if it's just bravado or they're actually backing it up?

If i recall correctly, Chris himself owns the Okatron 5000 Studio where he'd be free to record that and have it as a private thing he could share with friends. Hence why every voice involved in that "skit" was his own. It's not exactly an abuse of an IP when you have professional recording equipment at home and something Leaks. It wasn't released for anything. At best it's for personal use.

Ever use a Sound Booth? That happens a lot. And it was adlibbed from the sound of things. A single scenario adlibbed to the end, and Chris swaps between voices on the fly... believe it or not, shit like that is used as practice. warmup fodder or something he recorded to pass the time that was supposed to remain a joke for just him and maybe another engineer. Par the course for this industry.
___________

I agree with the main point that it's antithetical to the company "look" that they want to push forward, But I wholeheartedly disagree that the same studio that dubbed Dance in the Vampire Bund and many other bordeline hentai shows would have the same views on what is and isn't "workplace sexual harassment." Which Makes the Vic thing seem all the stupider. Monica and Jamie play Panty and Stocking, 2 sluts who talk about fucking all the time. Chris in that show plays Garterbelt, a Black priest who wants to molest little children. This is different than your average Joe sallary-man kind of thing. But some stupid G-rated joke about a Jellybean is enough to try and get Vic to Kill himself? Thats what I find most outrageous. So "Jelly bean" that's horrible but Sonny Straight shouting in Krillin's voice "KA ME HA ME HA! BITCHES!!" at conventions is just dandy? ehhh no.

I am saying, above all, THAT is what you want to go after. Not actors screwing around in the voice booth (It happens in Japan too, Mayumi Tanaka famously replaced Akemi Okamura's Scripts so she screams Climate CHINPO [penis] instead of Tempo.) Voice actors are not as "professional" as you'd be lead to believe. We're all just children with a microphone, and that doesn't change no matter where you are. I bet you'll find things like that in other voice reels found in the Japanese Audio companies. If somebody were ballsy enough to leak them.

And Above all i hold steadfast that if this becomes ISWV's sticking point all those fun little interations at conventions will be nuked by overhead. And I don't think anybody wants that. this is the farms, It doesnt matter at the end of the day to this site, but ISWV are people who tout themselves as convention-going anime fans. Do they really want the whole experience to be extremely sanitized? And free of any actual human interaction?

Now it's time for an age old question. if you clone yourself and fuck it, is it gay or masturbation?
The thing is i'm not upset about the copyright. I could care less. However, it is an effective avenue of attack... so of fucking course i'm going to take it. It's like the enemy's camp is on fire and they only have this narrow gorge to escape through, of fucking course i'm setting archers there to pelt them as they flee. I'd be an idiot not to... hell fuck the archers, bring the cannons and point them down.

As I said earlier, my hot pick is Justin Cook, but Rizzo is a close second. I feel like Cook, HEAD OF PRODUCTION, would have access to old PRODUCTION files on a computer, while I have trouble imagining Rizzo would have that kind of access. And as I said earlier, the first time Nick mentioned Cook on a previous stream, he either defended him or at least had no untoward comments about him. While on last night's stream, he went at him hard but very briefly. I just think there is something fishy with the difference in Nick's thoughts of Cook between the two streams.

And remember in Vic's depo, he said Cook basically told him he was on his side before learning he was fired. You can take that one of two ways: Cook told Vic what he wanted to hear while actually being part of the mob. OR he actually did support Vic but was either powerless against, or too scared, to speak in support of Vic.

Maybe it's a bit too early to give up on gool ol' Urameshi just yet. At least I hope.
Do not discount Gen Fukunaga himself.

Gen technically lost money in the sale to Sony. Between 2012 and 2016, Funimation invested heavily in business development and expansion capital came from the partners themselves. My understanding is his net was less than he would have gained investing in the market.

Could see him as a business founder torpedoing the company after the sale. He has other business interests and family at Toei, could be he's making a play to take DBZ to a business where he still has a stake. He knows what goes on during recording sessions.

Crunchyroll is billing Funimation actors in BSD, so I think that's why. Despite it being a Crunchyroll dub, if you watch the credits (and can manage to sit through the bizarrely slow and silent credit roll) it's all a Funimation crew. I'm guessing since CR used to be partnered with Funimation and BSD has been going for years it's a holdover. If CR get solo license to it for some reason and recasts, they'll potentially bring back Vic, as his replacement only voiced like 3 episodes.

As long as Adam Sheehan is at Crunchyroll, I doubt it.

@Svetlana for something unrelated to the current drama, if you don't mind asking Vic - or if you happen to know - what's his policy/feelings with regards to digital fanart (SFW, non-offensive, non yaoi, something like Ed eating donuts and frowning at a glass of milk) sent to him via email? By its artist, of course.

Specht is claiming he raped her now?

No, she inferred in the most salacious way possible that he gave her an STD. Which remained unnamed and she has obviously provided exactly zero evidence of whatsoever.

Just off the top of my head J Michael Tatum, Brandon McInnis, Chris Patton, Greg Ayres, David Wald and probably Daman Mills do voice work to varying degrees for Funimation. All gay.

I wonder how they felt being slurred by the heterosexual oppressors.

Very curious what Greg Ayres, who has hated Vic with a passion for going on a decade now simply because he's Christian and therefore might disapprove of gayness, would think of Sean using slurs like that.

To be fair, this isn't the first time Sean has wholesale blocked his own fans. Sean's a crybaby idiot who has no issue whatsoever blocking his dedicated fans if they ruffle his fragile ego at all, even accidentally. Remember, this is the guy that Chris Sabat scolded for whining about and not appreciating his fans on twitter (and then Sean responded by literally deleting his twitter for a while).

As long as Adam Sheehan is at Crunchyroll, I doubt it.

If I recall from my digging to see if he was in fact Iago, Adam doesn't have a very influential position in CR. He's something like live event coordinator. Basically, he could probably screw up Vic's appearances at a Bungo Stray Dogs panel in a CR event, but I don't think he has the pull to keep Vic unemployed if Crunchyroll just wanted him back.

So our comrade JosephTX might have been perma banned.

Sad day, kiwis!

He got too cocksure, and that's a shame, but I think the biggest loss is that it means Ron Toye's DM attack actually did accomplish something. It got one of the doxkiwis who got those court documents banned. Even if it only accelerated a likely eventuality.

Other than Law Twitter using this as an attempt to dunk on Ty, how much of an effect would this have?

None whatsoever.

So was he officially 9 minutes late?

Please let Jdolf try to make a mountain out of this molehill.

I wonder if there's a thingy for if technical issues cause something to be filed late. Something in words, maybe, that says what happens and what you do.
