Funimation employees and fellow VAs. They all had childish senses of humor so he made the skit for everyone to laugh at. It's very much like if someone tried to copy TFS' style but didn't understand there's more to humor than sex and shock value. So, basically every single 'this is what should happen at x point!' comment or theory. Obviously this was before TFS, but it's the same line of thought.

Incidentally, I think it's probably dreaming too big to think Toei or Sony will yank anything from Funimation. The fire would need to get a whole lot bigger before businessmen overcome their lethargy and do something. What I think will have to happen, though, is Funimation doing something. Toei and Sony can distance themselves from the PR disaster with relatively little damage and effort. Funimation can't. Merely the threat that Sony or Toei could do something, along with however much money and reputation this scandal causes them (on top of the lawsuit!) means they have to do something. Apologize, donate money, issue statements, fire a bunch of employees not related to the VAs, maybe even punish some of the VAs involved. Something to pre-empt punishment from their daddies and their customers.

Unless Funimation is abysmally stupid, anyway. Maybe their incompetence is so severe, Sabat's control so complete, that they just keep doubling down and ignore it. I think that's the worst choice they could make, because I think it's the choice Nick expects to be their most likely move and therefore will have planned for, but it is possible.

Man it would be stupid if Funimation married to destroying Vic as hard as Monica has. I honestly can't believe how much of their noses these people are willing to chop off just to stick it to Vic. I'd half expect in some timeline where Vic took ownership of Funimation at the end of the lawsuit they'd literally KyoAni the place rather than let him have it. You know. If these people keep doubling down and refusing to admit defeat.
