Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

He's named throughout and better prepare the sacred ointment, but incase anybody was still wondering about codename Iago.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but are the bits where chuck says "x told me..." or especially "x told me y told them..." not hearsay?

That seems like the same sort of stuff Nick was dinging as he went through manjaw's affidavit.

I think what BHBH might be going for is "all of these funimation employees had similar rumors and funimation didn't do anything to them."

depends on phrasing and intent - just being something that someone else said doesn't make it hearsay

the quoted statement is being offered as proof of what?

My favorite line so far:
Consider that “Doug the Pug” has more Twitter followers than Vic,65 and there’s no reasonable assertion that Doug is a general-purpose public figure.
Just picturing Judge Chupp rushing to google doggo videos relevant to a case he's hearing... it fills me with... determination.

Oh man! This is gonna take awhile to wade through. Other than Chuck’s affidavit anything af particular noteworthiness?
Depends how you feel about competantly written legal jargon that is clear and comprehensible to even the most casual observer? Also, it's not a gigantic friggin' eyesore.

I suspect Lemwah will try and strike a lot of it, while crying out in pain that big old meanie Ty did the same to him. The pictures on page 1 might be a wee bit prejudicial. If hilarious.

Gen is no longer the CEO, but he's been moved to a lower position in the company.
He is still in Funimation.

He's Chairman now. Which in most companies is a figurehead position. I think he retains something like 10% of the company stock, and cashed out the rest to Sony. He should be a multimillionaire now (if not before), but he doesn't have as much power anymore.

Now this one actually is hearsay, specifically hearsay-within-hearsay because it's offered for the truth of the matter asserted, i.e. that Chris Sabat, Ron Toye and Sean Schemmel actually said these things, a fact only known to Todd.
