STPD explains his unusual thought patterns and weird behaviors. Believing that CWC was real from an early age isn't a symptom of autism but of a psychotic disorder. His obsessive thoughts can be explained by having OCD or Pure OCD (which means just having the obsessive thoughts). His lack of remorse, lack of empathy for others, having a god complex, and just being all around a narcissistic piece of shit lines up perfectly.
I've seen autism (both high and low functioning, I volunteer and work with those retarded shits) and this isn't it. It is clear that while he is retarded he isn't a diagnosed retard.

(Or when he gets scammed for $6k or he stays up for 24 hours because the merge is supposed to happen but it's late)

What I object to is that that mental illness is schizophrenia specifically. Chris doesn't experience hallucinations. Schizophrenia isn't the only mental illness out there. There are other ones that involve losing one's grip on reality without explicitly seeing things that aren't there or hearing voices that aren't there.
