This is why places like KiwiFarms, and the laws and ideas which allow them to continue to exist, are so important. If you didn't have a place where you could go to just call some idiot a fag and laugh at them rather than having to join in the umpteenth hate mob, how fractured would your psyche be? How would you be able to withstand the fear knowing that you were always a half-step away from being the next head in the guillotine?

The death of Alec Holokwa is sad but I also see this as a blessing in disguise.

Now that the 'cancel culture' that's been trying to influence the video game industry has a suicide on their hands because of their own actions then do also expect a major backlash towards the 'cancel culture' in the video game industry and in the video game community as a whole.

Say what you want about #GamerGate but at least they never drove someone to take their own life and meanwhile these lefty shitheads actually have pretty much driven someone to take their own life.

And with Zoe Quinn deleting her Twitter account has shown that 'cancel culture' is backfiring on these lefty dumbshits and this awful tragedy won't really go away for them for a long time.

Aside from an admission of guilt, it's definitely a method of laying low that comes off as attention whoring. I guarantee once they feel this has blown over they'll reactivate their accounts.

NITW was a spergfest, but the soundtrack was absolutely beautiful. Dude was undoubtedly talented.

Not to powerlevel too hard, but I lost someone to suicide who was then falsely accused AFTER his death.

Seeing his own sister, friends, ex girlfriend turn against him, even hammering the point home after his death that they think he's guilty and :"pls don't harass Zoe 😢"...fuck man. That hurts. I'm out.

This is 100% true, and I think it needs examining. The tendency for genuinely toxic individuals to dress their toxic narcissism in virtuous clothing is commonplace and I'm surprised it hasn't caught on like I thought or hoped.

The fact she made a callout post like she did dispels any arguments there is to make about her not intending harm. Callout posts are made to cause drama, it was made to cause and incite a lynchmob, especially in the #MeToo climate.

Zoe knew 100% what she was doing. She is a petty and vindictive bitch, she has a history of behaving like this, and I guarantee you she will NOT shoulder any real responsibility for what she has done, because nobody prominent wants to hold her to account.

And I too think it was envy, here was a guy who made a wildly popular game, while she's known as the girl who made a shitty menu game and opened the culture wars by fucking five game journos. Envy is a deadly sin for a reason, and it seems it costs this man his life.

There was the guy who tried to use it to not pay rent to his asian girlfriend and refuse to move out or something. One of the guys that helped Milo set up his gamergate radio thing. Mercedes Carrera who was also involved on gamergate side got busted for planning to fuck a kid with her boyfriend.
