Heh. @EriMin's reason for not wanting to be assigned to Vic anymore is the most benign thing ever. I honestly suspected that (since she says she's not a Christian) she might've not been digging Vic's Sunday services or something.

She just didn't want to be known as the Vic Whisperer (since @Svetlana already holds that position).

A bunch the old school VAs outside of Chuck seem to be arrayed against Vic, while the newbies don't want anything to do with it. Another veteran who would presumably be on Vic's side (or at least, not on KickVic's side) is intriguing.

Long before #MeToo when I saw feminists screeching about rape and sexual assault and the whole "listen and believe" thing I knew that was going to be abused, I knew that men would be accused over personal grudges and not actual sexual assault and I knew it would be a power play to try to remove men from positions of power to replace them with women.

I hate how predictable it all was.

This is why what Nick has been doing this past week is a bit of a masterstroke. Even if all the TCPAs are all granted (and I hope not) Funimation is still going to take a beating. There's certain things coming out the SJWs can't ignore, unless they're completely in Funimation's pocket.

It's at least rather clear she is not an abused spouse. Rather they are co-horts. Judging from what she has said after this and when asked about it. It is a little odd that he first offers up Monica as one of the people coming forth with this over SMS with Chris Slatosch, then they have a phone conversatiion about it where Ron just chimes in. I need to check timeline tomorrow.

IMHO nothing new about it at all - just the speed it spreads. and how often it's happening.

Ever since the Dungeons and Dragons hysteria, I've had my eyes out for people abusing social movements for their own ends. Around the same time D&D was happening I remember reading an article by a guy tying the D&D hysteria to the 1950s comic book moral panic (Frederic Wertham and his book Seduction of the Innocent) and the birth of the comics code authority.

McMartin preschool was my first wake-up call as to how bad it could really get

then the false recovered memory episode (because of the Ellen Bass book Courage to Heal) ... women accusing their fathers of rape 30 years after the fact, couple of men jailed with zero proof that anything bad ever happened (other than a therapist "helping" their patients write sex abuse fiction and calling it real).

then the Duke Lacrosse trial - these were the national things going on, and locally , and the whole missing kids pictures on food packages thing, and in my local community, the absolute shit show every time a kid or a woman vanished (never when a guy vanishes of course).

The first time I think I saw this most recent feminist thing coming was the University of Toronto feminists abusing people going to a Warren Farrell lecture. 8 years ago now? Part of the series that made Big Red famous. That was an eye opener.
