Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Read through the document up to the depositions which I've seen in their entirety.

All I have to say is...anyone still refusing to even consider that #kickvic might be wrong in any capacity is just a jealous, malicious motherfucker who wants to see a man delete himself like one of Zoe Quinn's victims.

That's my only fucking explanation.

Fuck these dirty liars, and thank you Chuck! If anything DOES happen to Chuck now, boy oh boy...that'll be real suspect.

Watch out Sssssssabat....

When you are convinced you're the smartest person in the room the idea that you might be wrong about something seldom enters your mind.

Man, this series is getting crazy in these latest episodes, are we sure we are following the source material of the manga? They forshadowed Sabat-kun being a secret baddy, but I didn't expect him to be this bad. I also love the inclusion of Chuck Huber, regardless of if he 's canon or not.
dude, I’m dying to see what happens next and it kills me that I can’t just read the wiki for spoilers.
Yeah, the mangaka needs to stop taking month long hiatuses, at least what he's cooking up is great.

Plot twist: WW is authored by Kentaro Miura while he doesn't work on Berserk.

Holy shit. The writing for season 2 is fucking amazing. No filler at all. Every episode has forwarded the myth-arc.

Sure it's a bit forumlaic to bring in some new heavies the beginning of season 2 after the old group wasn't getting it done but they pulled it off. They gave Sabat a hell of a welcome to the party!

Too bad the Weeb Wars writers didn't write the last season of Game of Thrones.

Currently reading Slatosch's affidavit...
Mmm...so Monica really did threaten him. I guess that rules out any possibility that Ron is making Monica engage in actual illegal behavior.
Not that I'm suprised at all by this...we've known all along, haven't we?

The primary problem noted with Sabat being Iago was Ty's mentioning of his "whiny effeminate voice" Which doesn't fit Sabat at all.
Here's my crackpot theory: Sabat's natural voice is much whinier and effeminate than anyone is led to believe. Or at least Ty has heard a more whiny version of his voice that few are familiar with.

Much like Kraut's accent turned out to be fake, Sabat's voice is put on as well, or at the very least hammed up. Like if you ever watched Markiplier or Armoured Skeptic I could compare Sabat's voice to that. It sounds fake.

Is there any recording of Sabat where he isn't aware that he is or might be recorded?

I also would point to Sabat's initial hiring. He was hired to replace Brian Drummond as Vegeta. I encourage you to go and look up Drummond's performance as Vegeta. It's not what I would describe as deep or bass sounding.

Gotta say, I love the little bait-and-switch they did with Erica's backstory. We all thought it'd be a dramatic revelation, only for Erica to just be like, "nah fam, I just didn't wanna be Vic's handler." Sure, some fans are going to call it underwelming, but I think the writers pulled it off.

Hell, just look up Sabat’s earlier take on Vegeta just after they took over from Ocean. He tried to imitate Drummond but just made Vegeta sound like a pissed off teenager.
Someone once theorized Yamcha was the closest thing to his natural speaking voice; wonder if they were on the money after all...

Aint gonna lie, I just fell under the assumption that vic might have propositioned her once they got a bit closer. She said no and it just felt awkward between the 2. Shit can happen when a man and woman get close ya know, but both were of age. Also even if it was true, there is nothing wrong with it at all.

They SUBVERTED EXPECTATIONS. Only correctly and not in a shitty way.

The JosephTX storyline was tragic. Hit me right in the feels.
