Uh..maybe because Sabat managed create such a toxic work environment and likes to shit on people behind their backs and used licensed assets to make a really inappropriate drama using Toei's IP and him just generally being subhuman garbage along with the rest of his butthole licking entourage that now Toei might be thinking of withdrawing from Funimation? And that Sabat and his antics cause Funimation to bleed subs on a regular basis?

Maybe I'm just slow but why exactly should a contractor who is not an employee of Funimation, be worried about being fired for reporting happy happy joy joy about Funi/Dragonball?

Because that would imply strongly that they are exerting control over his statements to media. Which further implies they are acting in an employer capacity.

Someone from Funi maybe, not sure really, I think it's just a random idiot in Twitter, but they were specific about the casting couch thing having been "handled back then" it's very specific wording as if the person had first hand knowledge of both the allegations and how Funimation dealt with them.

It might be just me making mountains out of molehills but I don't know.

Maybe, but still, there's little to no actual damages there, and you generally don't get punitive damages on breach of contract. In fact, I'm not sure if you can get punitive damages at all for breach of contract in Texas. And, of course, there's still the strong likelihood that they never breached a contract at all, so obviously no damage there either.

Frankly, Sabat using his influence to get RT to fire Vic is more likely to fuck Sabat than RT.

Vic was able to get some with nothing but his good looks and charm, Sabat had to resort to a casting couch.
Vic is loved by his fans and at least liked by most Kiwis who frequent the weeb wars Thread, Sabat has fans and most of them consider him an asshole.

Even in Dragon Ball, Vic's character was stronger and more badass than Vegeta and had a more interesting backstory (at least in the Super movie).

Yeah I can see why an asshole like Sabat would hold such a grudge with Vic. Envy is such a miserable and pitiable thing.

You know, reading that, it reminds me of Eny’s demise in FMA and how all this makes sense when it comes to jealousy. At least Sabat has the admiration of Team Four Star?
