Depends on his specific influence. If he lied to them in order to get them to break their contract, that's him (maybe) committing a tort, not them. If he threatened them, again, that's him doing the unlawful act. If he asked them nicely? Maybe, but still, there's little to no actual damages there, and you generally don't get punitive damages on breach of contract. In fact, I'm not sure if you can get punitive damages at all for breach of contract in Texas. And, of course, there's still the strong likelihood that they never breached a contract at all, so obviously no damage there either.
