StoneToss (allegedly, formerly Red Panels)

You should see the whole thread. Anyone who finds this funny should. I browsed it this morning during breakfast and it was absolutely hysterical. No joke, every single person complaining was a pronoun-in-bio gay guy or tranny.
Holy fucking shit you are right like i knew A lot of them would have their pronouns in their bio but out of like 50 people 3 didn't have their pronouns in their bio.

Maybe he was just full of bullshit all along.

I don't tend to mention it much around here for obvious reasons, but the far-right's love of Trump always astounded me. He was a Democrat in the 1990s and then ran on an anti-immigration platform in 2016 because he knew that was popular at the time given the success of leaders like Orban in Europe in the preceding years (Orban more or less saved his corrupt government's wavering popularity by taking a stand against immigration and building a border fence). His sole concern, like most politicians, is getting power and keeping it, and at no point has he ever cared about the asinine (((Jewspiracies))) the far-right is obsessed with. I can't recall him ever being opposed to Israel, but people like Stonetoss just ignored that for years because their worldview isn't based on a holistic view of politics.

Also, the only thing that stopped him from doing what he wanted was the fact he didn't have 60 votes in the Senate to force cloture on the bills he supported (wall funding, etc). That's the reason McConnell focuses on judge nominations, since they only need 51 votes and they have those. There's no QAnon nonsense at work here, just the American political system's separation of powers.

TVTropes are autistic as hell, but I don't think Stonetoss fans can toss those stones, if you know what I mean.

Does this site have a thread making fun of Qanons because I feel like it should but anyway I would argue that the alt right has accomplished a fair bit because trump being in office even if he isn't directly responsible.

This poll by pew points out what I mean Trump is a zionist shill who couldn't get a lot of his policy objectives done which the alt-right should consider bad. However the resurgent leftism as a result of him has exposed the naked ambitions of the left to many more people. I think a lot of people are starting to realize that the happy stories of the civil rights movement and the idea of racial equality aren't practical and the alt-right should be massively happy with that because some of their opinion have started to become mainstream, at least within the right.

Doesn't surprise me. His campaign strategy was pretty ballsy. Whether thought up by himself or someone working for him, who knows. But let's look at the strategy. Knowing that his lack of political experience and his democrat history would both be the most immediate disqualifiers in people's heads, he positioned himself further right than any republican on one of the most neglected topics in the west, immigration. He also did it with what was essentially a building plan, something where a real estate developer looks like an expert. Where the rest of the right wing was neocons that were appeasers on social issues, Trump took a position to move the social issues like immigration to the right.

On top of that, his humor and bravado were occasionally succesful in moving the entire discussion to the right.

It seems to me that the idea of the wall was only there to be taken serious as a republican candidate. Once he had the republican nomination, he focused instead on winning the middle and destroying his opponent and already started losing some enthusiasm from far right. Instead they started to cope (as they still do) that at the very least he is better than the other options. He started focusing on corruption and the swamp instead.

I think when elections draw nearer all people develop stronger blindspots for the flaws of who they want to win (like young turks suddenly cheering hillary in the final showdown despite bernie obviously being the candidate they were excited about), and then the moment she loses, in the same stream, start talking about how terrible she is.

Right now it's still far enough and people are more honest in their criticism in the hope that they get enough of popular groundswell to get Trump to change course or get another candidate who takes their course (they being anyone who tries to influence voting), but once voting is near it will be masonic black and white, with one intelligent angel vs one dunce devil.

The majority of the extremely online right (losers, hucksters, and unemployed antisocial exceptional individuals that like to vape and podcast) have an incredibly childlike mentality when it comes to politics. They failed from very early on to understand that the head of the Executive Branch of US government is not in any way a dictator and is actually quite limited in policies that can be enacted without the cooperation of the Legislative Branch. This is what the Founders intended, as they were Roman republic LARPers (I mean this in a very positive way) that wanted to avoid the emergence of despotic Caesars and deliberately designed the government as such. They failed to understand just how much resistance the bureaucratic machine could muster against an actual outsider that was fairly new to the Washington political circus, and how much it attempted to strangle his administration in the early stages. Finally, because they have no IRL experience in dealing with normie actual Americans (again, antisocial losers) they fail to understand that Trump is popular and successful precisely because he is neither a 'conservative' or a 'white nationalist'. If he has any political philosophy at all it's an ecumenical form of US nationalism.

tl; dr: altright goons no one cares about your podcasts, your shitty Twitter witticisms, or your zero traffic blogs. Go outside, talk to people (girls), learn a trade, hit the gym.

I mean seems like a lot of people care about stonetoss and agree with many of his comics. I hear all kinds of stories from people about sharing some of the more mild stonetoss stuff with their parents and family. It's probably true that the "alt-right" whatever alt right even means anymore doesn't have much influence especially now but surprisingly or not surprisingly some of their viewpoints are beginning to become more popular. If you asked people if the media hates white people a surprising number of people would say yes. If you ask does israel have an affect on US politiics people might look to Iran and go yes.

I remember all the endless "God Emperor" memes. A lot of those spergs probably literally believed that, or something close to it. I also suspect that they took the media nonsense about him being a fascist seriously, despite their claims that they don't trust the media.

I have no idea how true this is, but allegedly a lot of the alt-right watch the Joe Rogan podcast. Rogan talks to all kinds of people and has generally moderate views, so they would be watching someone very unlike themselves in that case.

Stonetoss deliberately posts more moderate comics from time to time to reach a broader audience and only sometimes reveals the extent of his batshittery. The non-political "tits-ass-feet" one is a good example, being widely circulated among people with no idea what his politics are. Seeing his whole body of work on the other hand reveals that he is a crazy conspiracy theorist. His "jet fuel can't melt steel beams" comic comes to mind; even the comments on his own site mentioned that steel softens when heated so melting wasn't necessary for the towers to collapse.

I think he just likes the attention. There probably isn't some grandmaster plan to turn the world fascist at work here he makes comics that get him attention and praise and he definitely has a rightward bent to him. Art is usually good when you actually believe it and an interest in your art and some of his work that is like the tits ass feet comic boobs-butt-feet-comic.png (that's this one)

are his most popular and possibly one of his funniest. Like most people in Art he loves the praise he gets for his creations. Which is why I think he could become very lolcow worthy in the future if his ego gets too big.

It's not a good sign when Poe's Law applies to exceptional things like that.
Find the comic and upload it here I haven't seen it and you guys are discussing it and I have no idea what the comic even is. What if stonetoss becomes super lulzy in the future and people go back to read this thread and have no idea what any of us are talking about because you didn't post the comic.

Yeah, this is just you not understanding what a joke is.

Given many of his "THE JEWS DID THIS" comics are meant somewhat sincerely, it's hard to tell if he's just joking here or not. It's pretty common for far-right people to be truthers, so it falls afoul of Poe's Law even if it is just a joke.

Obviously Brenton Tarrant wasn't being serious when he put the navy seal copypasta in his manifesto, but some of what he wrote there was serious, and it was hard to see where the exact line was.

This is incidently why you shouldn't censor far right (or persecute jews). You end up creating groups, like supergerms in hospital, that are impossible to target with normal antibiotics anymore.

At some point you only have the best camouflaged left, they multiply, and you can't find them because you don't know who is far right and who is just making a joke.

Also, I find it hard to believe people believe the official 9/11 commision report when they've done some work into looking at alternative sources.

Who cares what view is popular?

Edit: okay I decided to read the comments. Only two make a case against it and most posts are jokeposts. One of the comments is an altpost of mine, btw, lol.

Who cares what view is popular?

It's not about being popular. The comments are pointing out that jet fuel doesn't have to melt steel beams to make the building collapse. It's just a statement of scientific fact.

"For the last time, steel doesn't have to 'melt' for it to lose its structural integrity. The loss of 20-30% of the structural members of a building from a 400mph+ collision, plus a massive fire in a giant 'chimney-like' structure, will cause extremely hot steel - not molten - to sag, deform, and lose most if not all of its weight-bearing capability.
If I was intent on pursuing investigation into conspiracy theories, I'd rather spend my time investigating Building 7, not the WTC."

"mechanical engineer here - if you heat up 'normal' structural steel (which is what I assume the towers were built out of) to just around 4-500 degrees centigrade, which is more than possible in a fire like that, then they lose around 80-90% of their structural integrity.
they don't turn into butter - but they sure as hell aren't fit to hold up a building anymore - and once the top third of the tower came down on the rest of the tower, its structural components couldn't hold up to that either - no building is designed to hold up against another building falling on it, unless you're building a bunker"

Yeah, this is just you not understanding what a joke is.
Is it though? This is the exact same format as a lot of his other comics. The "why are some dog breeds cleverer than others" comic springs to mind. Generic Stonetoss guy asks someone a question, the person answers, then asks another, related question, but with heavy political connotations. The person sweats and the audience is led to an obvious conclusion based on the answer to the previous question without Stonetoss having to come out and actually say it. Like here he's leading people to the conclusion that jet fuel can't melt steel beams because the temperatures are different, herp de derp.

So if this is just supposed to be a stupid joke that people aren't meant to actually buy into, then all of the comics like this are just stupid jokes and we basically have to discard everything we think about Stonetoss's politics because apparently he doesn't actually mean any of it. Which makes it a weird coincidence that his comics paint a very consistent alt-right worldview if his only intent is stupid/shock humor.

Either way, like 90% of his punchlines are just "You're not supposed to say that, LOL!" Which makes the comedy lazy, shitty, and repetitive.

1. Mechanical engineer? Why would you believe claims of authority from random anonymous commenters?

2. I'm not defending the steelbeams as I think it's mostly a meme part, much like metoo is meme part of hollywood casting couches, pedophilia and other far more serious stuff than a boss in an office groping his secretary. Not that the latter is okay, but it was an obvious smokescreen to distract and hide hollywood's open secrets. It's a though terminating meme part.

But meme parts lend themselves good for jokes as they tend to be in everyone's public consciousness.
