I used DuckDuckGo up until they blacklisted Kiwi Farms, but after I started using Startpage, I have no intentions of going back there.

@Null I noticed a while ago that qutebrowser blocks kiwifarms. Turns out we're on this blacklist.

Possibly related?

Update: I've been told by an Oath-powered company that we've been flagged as spam but they have no idea why. They're probing.

Gee, who’d be so mean and fiendish as to dishonestly flag us as spam?!?

What is this world coming to?

Null: Did somebody inside the company give us the spam mark or was it users?

It's certainly possible that Oath started pulling from a poorly curated threat feed like that one. There are more than a few feeds that will permanently indict a domain unless someone complains about it, because most people are stupid enough to think that a bigger blacklist means better security.

For real though, only an exceptional individual would consider malwaredomainlist.com a well-curated source. If qutebrowser trusts this tard for their blacklist then there's no telling what other smoothbrained security mistakes they're making. I'd be very wary of using it if I were you.
You might want to open an issue or a pull request.
It wouldn't hurt to make a PR there, but the underlying source of the data appears to be CoinBlockerList. Getting it removed from there would likely save more headaches down the road.
