@Null I noticed a while ago that qutebrowser blocks kiwifarms. Turns out we're on this blacklist.

Possibly related?
It is on the list for alleged bitcoin mining/malware.

Antiboycott Laws:
During the mid-1970's the United States adopted two laws that seek to counteract the participation of U.S. citizens in other nation's economic boycotts or embargoes. These "antiboycott" laws are the 1977 amendments to the Export Administration Act (EAA) and the Ribicoff Amendment to the 1976 Tax Reform Act (TRA). While these laws share a common purpose, there are distinctions in their administration.

Objectives:

The antiboycott laws were adopted to encourage, and in specified cases, require U.S. firms to refuse to participate in foreign boycotts that the United States does not sanction. They have the effect of preventing U.S. firms from being used to implement foreign policies of other nations which run counter to U.S. policy.

You might want to contact Microsoft (which uses Convercent for its Web-based GRC portal) instead, because their Bing search engine is what Oath relies on; even so, I for one buy the story that they had accidentally flagged the Farms as spam, rather than de-indexing the site to join in a boycott by those other Kiwis.

As for Steven Black's combined HOSTS files, the one that includes the Farms was based on CoinBlockerList, which just yesterday removed that site and at least one other false positive (Fiverr) after Null himself complained. UPDATE: Steven Black just updated the HOSTS files, removing the entry blocking the Farms.
For real though, only an exceptional individual would consider malwaredomainlist.com a well-curated source.
I remember using MDL in my own HOSTS file many years ago, but I stopped using it because of all of the false positives.

It wouldn't hurt to make a PR there, but the underlying source of the data appears to be CoinBlockerList. Getting it removed from there would likely save more headaches down the road.
kiwifarms.net got removed from the blacklist in this commit
