"laugh till you're an ally" is one of the cringiest things I've read since that feminist coloring book "joking" about asking consent before putting the crayon in the sharpener.

Also, wtf is a "monologist"? If they're implying you're going to laugh (until you're an ally...), then there the logical conclusion is that comedy will happen... are they trying to protect the eventual disaster by shielding the kid with the word so they will say "but he's not a comedian!" when nobody laughs? FGS, the post is literally saying he's doing comedy.

This is one of the cruelest things he's been put through, honestly. It's already hard for a grownup to be on stage and realising nobody likes your act imagine how it will be for a kid who isn't there on his own but was forced into it. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope they drug him enough for him not to notice the negative reactions otherwise, what we're gonna see is the live version of the Joker 2019 after he cracks and starts shooting at everybody. nvm, fuck it, I hope he does it. They'd deserve it.

I literally looked it up before I made my earlier comment and apparently "monologist" is a real word. Who knew? It means one who does monologues. Which, of course, Desmond is known for. Like wtf?

So he is a "monologist" and is going to do comedy...are they trying to turn this poor little whelp into a pediatric Hannah Gadsby? Like, he's going to robotically recite woke talking points and shame them for not being allies hard enough, and expect laughter? Yikes.

It's guarunteed to be an absolute trashfire for numerous reasons and I agree that whoever came up with the idea to put him in this position is a monster*.

However, I really really want to see this "performance". I really really do.

Call me demented but I guess his parents finally realized he is not very good at performing physically so they picked the next best thing queens tend to do, the problem is that is also a very miscalculated approach to finally justify his fame. A monologue is no easy feat for an adult, much less for a child specially one that is on the spectrum and doesnt seem like a savant by any means. This is really baptism by fire.
Is Desmond really prepared to perform on such a stage?, I mean its very likely going to be a lame event with the usual suspects anyway but its still going to be something very different for him. What can a child say that is solely funny for their family or isnt inmature?, Hows Desmond going to take the reactions of the audience being that he seems to have problems on basic shit such as eating?, What if even that crowd doesnt want to enable this?

I'm sure Desmond has a broad variety of topics he's been gaining through his... 12 years of life experience. Also, the kid can't even speak well despite he's 12 (either because abuse, because he's autistic, or because hisparents never bothered on helping him to speak properly.). I don't want to make fun of him, but look at this interview... he definitely has the gift of the word.


(What I mean is, I'm a mom myself. I wouldn't allow my children to speak like this at that age. That's something you help them to overcome when they're way younger).

I guess he's gonna do some performing too. And I'm sure people will clap and applaud out of empathy. But yes, it's gonna be awful. It's gonna be like Bart's final "I didn't do it" act. I hope it's the same and it means Desmond's "career" will be over and he can be a normal teen.

This is pretty much what I’ve been saying regarding the rather plausible theory of Desmond ending up dead after being ensnared by a predator thanks to Piggylou giving them open access to her son; whatever tragic ending this psychodrama is going to reach, the left and progressives will backpedal like crazy to sweep it under the rug and pretend none of this ever happened.

Popular theory is his mother starving him and plying him with hormone blockers to keep him looking childlike for as long as possible because she knows that once he hits puberty, the “drag kid” novelty will quickly wear off, and her cash cow will keel over.

Tbh, the whole "stamp in, follow society and do your damndest to fit in and be normal" attitude wasn't he worst thing to lose so much as the way we ditched it. Everyone is so focused on forcing themselves on the world that we don't take into account that staying to yourself and pitching in the time here and there isn't bad.

That interview was the first time that I actually heard him speak, he fucking sounds like a 5 year old in both voice and speech patterns, as if this whole thing wasn't disturbing enough before. I thought you all were just being autistic about the puberty blockers but now I'm thinking you could actually be right.

You know, I see a lot of the same attitudes in todays' conservatives too.

Society is bad - because it is designed and run by liberals and socialists.

People can't be trusted and could crash you if they want. - Because they are PC ass eaters and SJW hypocrites who are out to get conservatives.

I mean, many right-wingers that I know of have this mindset where they think that like 80% of people are worthless scum that deserve everything bad that could possibly happen to them.
