Because Super Sonic has red eyes (not green), red shoes (not blue), and doesn't have those faggy red spots on his cheeks. This is definitely meant to be Sonichu.

Interests of fairness: I've never played a Sonic game in my life. I was enough of a sperg and Sonichu reader to think 'hey, maybe it's Super Sonic' and duly trotted off to Google image search, which educated me swiftly in the visual differences between Super Sonic and Sonichu...

If the situation "normally requires a gun" then police will use a fucking gun. Tasers are less-leathal devices used when a gun would be inappropriate to use, like an unarmed suspect is not complying with police commands by running away or not getting on the ground..
