Just when we all thought things were finally slowing down, more bombshells were dropped this last week than over Dresden. But let's attempt a slightly anachronistic return to normalcy with another nice convention story from @EriMin earlier today.

Now I'm sure we're all curious as to which convention and which CEO, but that's a bit of a mystery. However, I do recall that Erica worked at AWA for many years, including those when a certain affiant for Rial and Toye had assumed leadership of the convention. I wonder if this is a story about him.

Edit: Also, I hadn't seen this posted either. It's a few days old, but still relevant.

It's this kind of dumbshit ultimatum that polarizes everything so drastically. If it were just accusations leveled at vic, without the accompanying blacklisting, ultimatums, and attempt to emotionally manipulate fans, there would probably be a lot more sympathy from even the people who question their "personal truths"

Sometimes freelance, but every so often you see one of the nepotistic little fucks get actual staff positions. You can tell by the quality of the kneepads involved, which are on the fast track to a 3 month 'job' before musical chairs starts playing again and they show up at a direct 'competitor'.

Because the clock is winding down and people would remember "Nick has a lawsuit waiting."

You can bullshit people up to the last second. Right now the spew has been so volumous that any predictions would be lost. If anyone remembered them he could spin it.

But now the cards will be put down. He's bluffed and blustered everything and he is realizing he really doesn't have any cards in his hand. If one or two of the defendants walk he can claim credibility. If none of them walk, that Threadnaught explodes in hellfire on him.
