I am surprised this part Chris Huber's affidavit hans't made bigger new yet:

So Gen Fukanaga, CEO of Fuimation, was warned about anime's very own Harvey Weinstein and chose to do nothing since he was friends with Christ Sabat.

Yikes, not a good look y'all...

Didn't want to waste those valuable Funimation HR resources on something so minor when there are jellybean dad jokes to focus on.
If proof of this ever appears or Gen admits this, Funimation/Sony is in for one hell of a ride. Why do you think many companies will jettison employees over mere allegations? Because if it turns out there was sexual harassment and they did nothing, they get shithammered with fines and have to shell out tons of money to "comply" with new rules that will be enforced. Hours and hours of sensitivity training, employee committees, advocates, etc. Tons and tons of bullshit, all on the company dime.
Having worked at a company where this happened and knowing the head honcho that dropped the ball, it's not pretty. The only way the company could be more violated is if Andre the Giant was their proctologist.

Considering his skill as a lawyer, do you really have to ask?
And by "Educated" I mean taken to court. Cause that IS something a lawyer can do to someone horribly misrepresenting. I believe it could definitely qualify as defamation, no?

@EriMin had no choice but to submit an unsworn affidavit because she currently lives in Japan and the hoops she'd have to take in order to produce a sworn affidavit would have been far too much.

According to her, all it means is that she didn't appear in front of a notary. It's still just as binding, especially considering the "penalty of perjury" either at the start or end of the document.

At any rate, Slatosch's affidavit also includes the Ron texts that are plainly entered into evidence, that are the actual proof of the TI. On the other hand, the sworn affidavits from Rial and company are internally and externally inconsistent and could easily be torn apart as such should they get through the fairly applicable hearsay objections.

So, did his stint in Twitter jail convince him that he had to outright lie about the case, or did I miss something?

LawTwitter is just looking for a win. Last week had Sabat using autism as an insult, Ron being revealed as a wife beater, the meat grinder that was Funimation trending followed by Chuck Huber's affidavit.

They are going to take any wins they can grab to buy them time. Even if they have to make stuff up.

Everyone just calm down. We are getting over excited.

Admittedly I'm not excited, I'm a bit anxious. I don't believe anything is easy and so far it's been building up to be a sweep, even with this denial. I don't think this case is going to stay smooth sailing and it's definitely going to get dirty down the line.
Admittedly, people are getting too emotional over it. Let's not forget we still have at least 6 months of this left, unless things go amazingly or poorly.

Dude, you're thinking of samson. Andre is a fine proctologist that complies with all the laws. Samson on the other hand is a dick.

The mental image of Funi's KickVic'ers FORCED to endure 'sensitivity' training' just gives me warm fuzzies. But eventually, the SJWs in general will find themselves in such a position because that kinda idiocy always boomerangs.

oh my goodness just shut the hell up--

IF VIC HAD WENT ON TO BE A "HALFWAY DECENT PERSON" AFTER NEARLY STATUTORILY RAPING YOU, YOU WOULD HAVE JUST LET IT BE.

I wish this person never crawled back out of her wall crack...

So out of curiosity, what is NEARLY statutory rape? Rape seems to be a pretty binary concept and not something on a sliding scale.
