I don't see him drawing Mumkey probably because either a: he doesn't know who Mumkey is/out of the loop or b: it doesn't interest him/the horse is already beaten to death.

Even if he does draw anything related to Mumkey it'll probably be a throwaway sketch he did while working on something that he put a modicum of effort into.

Yeah I reminded of the Bowsette thing when it comes to topics he chooses. The internet was well into running Bowsette into the ground and artists all over were milking it but Shad refused to do it and I assume it's because he can't be at the forefront of the meme.

It's not like the bathwater girl thing where he could slide some cheesecake into it the whole Mumkey thing doesn't seem like something he would have done from the start.

IIRC his reason for not doing Bowsette was that he felt she was generic (unironically he has a point here: as she's just Edgy Peach with a few of Bowser's characteristics) and him drawing her would've came off as pandering.

I mean he isn't wrong....only a few artists actually strayed away from maker her just a more dom looking waifu bait Peach but pandering? I guess he's right because I don't recall him doing much for his fandom as he seems to just do what he wants and they force themselves to like whatever direction he's taking.

Wait did he use stock image for the backgound boy thats lazy and the black clothes of this character almost blend in into the background atleast use a different color for the clothes so this piece wont have that problem like purple or any cold colors for that matter

Meh, nothing to get anyone up in arms about, looks really rushed though. Lazy copypaste background and the guy needs to learn how fabric folds work. Also, weird slant on the shoulder, it should be higher, as is looks really wonky.
