The annoying retainer finds out the alien mom dies and enacts a revenge plot to ruin earth, kill alien mom's friends on earth and destroy her son.

Jake is reading into this plotline as if he's the abandoned friend, and that ZQ/Chelsea ghosting Jake was an awful & cruel thing to happen, and that there will surely be consequences someday in the future. What Jake doesn't pick up on is that he's annoying and Chelsea never liked him in the first place, and was stuck with him against her will until she finally had a reason & opportunity to just run.
