I honestly think TY tried to pull a fast one, and got caught. How does one "accidentally" notarize a document. That's not a whoopsie.

That being said, the point is moot because the affidavits were pulled and replaced with virtually identical sworn declarations, which in the end will have relatively the same impact..
I could believe that, but I'm having trouble because there's absolutely no reason to. Unsworn declarations would've sufficed and he could've amended (with properly notarized pages) like they had to do anyways right? So why bother?

I just don't see the point of doing something like that intentionally when it doesn't really benefit you in a meaningful way, especially when they know there are so many eyes on the case.

None of it makes sense. But who knows.

So guys take this with the heaviest grain of salt as it’s a YouTube comment on Nick’s latest stream.
But this was a top comment.

Idk if the guy is making shiz up as we need a name of a con but I’ll be on my lunch break soon so I’ll try looking into he’s full of it or not as soon as possible.

I believe because she's the only one who isn't a US resident. Iirc she lives in Japan.
Maybe that played a part, as hers was the only unsworn. Not sure.

That's what makes it confusing. According to Nick (if I'm understanding correctly) unsworn testimony would have sufficed. So there's no reason for him to intentionally try to "cheat" notarized documents into his work. Also given the fact that apparently remote notary does exist in Texas (again, if I'm understanding correctly), then perhaps that would explain things.

Regardless I don't think this will impact the case outright. It might knock him down a peg in the eyes of the judge, but Lemoine's response will even that out.

We can't expect perfection from Ty. That doesn't mean we shouldn't hammer on him about stuff like this, but we shouldn't be surprised to see errors sometimes. We can speculate all day as to what exactly happened, but, in the end, it doesn't make a difference to anything at hand, and Ty is NEVER going to tell what happened, and rightfully so. It would be exceedingly stupid to explain what exactly happened unless compelled to do so by a court, which won't happen, because, again, it doesn't actually make a difference to anything. I agree almost completely with Nick on this. This was very sloppy work, and we should be disappointed, but this doesn't mark the end of the case. The defendants and their counsel very obviously have done worse, and it's still not the end of their case.

And here is the video in question.
Vic gets fired over innocuous crap while Chris gets to do this for the lulz. But there’s no double standard at Funi, no sir.

Edit: lunch break over so I can’t archive jack atm. Someone help a newfag.

Hey, just wondering if anyone has any idea who is actually in charge of Funimations Twitter/social media accounts? Does anyone know who actually made the Funimation tweets relevant to this case?

Funimation claims Scott Barreto was the one who made the tweets and monitors the VAs accounts. He testifies as such in his affidavit.

I have it downloaded via youtube-dl, trying to make ffmpeg behave properly to cut it down to the section in question so that I don't have to upload 450mb of bullshit

Round 2 of the Vic lawsuit is going to be amazing as all the people Sabat's pissed off come out of the woodwork to dunk on him.
Makes ya wonder if Vic wins round 1 and A ton of Va's come out of the wood work for sabat. Will Kick Vic rename it's self to #KickSabat in a plot twist, or will they Stick to the sinking ship with the "smart ones" Making a New # like #UpToSa-Bat. Can't wait to see what the Writer does.
