Yeah as much as I want to trust those glassdoor reviews, disgruntled employees claiming someone is sleeping with the boss for favors predates funi. Now of course many people doing it makes that claim stand out a bit more, but still I have to wait to know for sure.
Glassdoor reviews, positive and negative, are mostly lies.

The average post is emotionally charged and written by someone without a sense of personal responsibility. It's easier to blame the system for their failures and that site is a convenient place to do it. OTOH, Most companies that do reputation management are posting their own reviews to drown out the hate they get or to make themselves sound like nirvana.

That said - none of those posts have any more evidentiary value than random blog posts. It's all just anonymous chirping.

Honestly, there are a few specific things mentioned in that Glassdoor review that leave me leaning more towards it being legit than not. You can’t see it all in the screenshot. But note how thereview talks about the lack of respect for the licensor or the property? Those leaked audio recordings immediately spring to mind. Some stuff described also seems to be in line with what we see in Colleen Klinkenbeards 2009 panel talking about Sabat turning her voice work into porn, and Chuck Huber’s affidavit. Is it damning? No, but the review seems to line up with the workplace as described by named credible sources. With many of those descriptions being made years before the controversy broke.

We've already had Glassdoor Reviews affect one of the companies that dropped Vic this year: Rooster Teeth.
Rooster Teeth even came out with a statement about it, but it seems that the whole episode was just more kindle added to the trashfire happening in that company.
Funimation, on the other hand, have it to address any of the concerns talked about in those reviews.
They might if more eyes look at it long enough.

According to Lemoine's logic, Funimation's silence means they admit to all.

In all seriousness though, it is odd that a company that said something about Vic when the literally didn't need to, is mysteriously silent when they should be releasing a statement, even if it is a non-statement.

can't really sue someone 370k in debt anyway

is there really any way to explain this behavior?

1. get in massive debt
1a have a life, attitude and presence that truly looks f-dup to outsiders
2. make people angry so they sue you
3. use the suit to make yourself famous for being an asshole
4. ???
5. PROFIT !!!! KA-CHING !!!!!!!!

anyone remember the 80s russian comedian(could've been an American with a Russian accent for all I know) whose tagline was "America .... wadda country"

You do know jamie that chuck was playing with you.chuck was only on your side for apperances sake if he wasn't then sabat will threaten to ruin his career.

I can't believe how jamie was able to decieved people, but in the end it was chuck that was able to decieve her in the end.

Look at how butthurt she is she can't accept that chuck threw her under the bus so fucking hard that she became so delusional

Oh but Vic deserves all he's built, which is greater than anything she's done, deserves to be destroyed?

Hope she caught something on that couch.

 this fake?

Probably nothing really, but I found this interesting

Not saying it's her, it's just something I kinda picked up.

Hey, um Jamie, I know you have problems comprehending simple things like reporting harassment to the police if it occurs, but you seem to be missing a crucial piece

Whos the Bigger fool.

The Fool, or the Fool's Fool.

Butthurt but think just how bad her response really is.

She is effectively showing how good she is at lying to a person, Chirs Huber*, who had the courage to risk his job at Funimation to try to save actual Funimation victims from Chris Sabat.

Yikes!

* Chris Huber affidavit 67 from ShaggyDawg's post above:

Here is the one thing I have never understood about #MeToo.

These people claim they're "so scared" of their supposed abusers but have no issues airing their dirty laundry out on Twitter with names dropped and all sorts of shit.

We had one extreme where someone became an hero after being accused.

Imagine if someone was accused and actually hurt the person accusing them because Twitter court wouldn't protect them from that sort of shit.
Imagine being murdered or actually put in danger for five seconds of internet clout for being "so brave."

Someone needs to archive the entire Ann database so it can be replicated elsewhere. Starve the beast.
I knew their damage control article was coming soon. Just a few excerpts and my thoughts.

Beard missed his deadline by a matter of minutes but what was filed would feed into a new round of rumors and speculation about the talent working at Funimation; at least until Monday, when Beard followed up with a notice to withdraw all three notarized affidavits due to "defects in form" - and the court judge ruled against his motion to strike the defense's evidence. – The judge ruled on a motion from July, this was completely unrelated to the weekend filings.

“did not attempt to upload the files to the court system until 12:15 a.m” – This was when the error was kicked out, not when the upload started.

Anime News Network spoke with multiple former employees of Funimation regarding Huber's claims about the licensing company's allegedly sexually charged environment and the allegations against Sabat brought forth in Huber's affidavit. All the former employees denied any knowledge of a "casting couch" involving Sabat or anyone else working at Funimation. – But, just because he didn’t implement the casting couch for a few employees, doesn’t mean that he didn’t for others.

They also took issue with Huber's statement that he is "intimately familiar with the work environment at Funimation" and said that the conversations Huber mentioned would be unlikely to occur at the Funimation offices due to how voice acting is conducted within the building. – So, why did Sony issue a “No Hugging” policy in 2017?

and while employees did sometimes hook up, it wasn't "an epidemic." – So, you admit to a “hook up” culture.

A former Funimation employee who spoke with Anime News Network stated that they never saw the video but would not be "surprised" if it were true. – Google, do you use it? It is everywhere.

Schemmel was the subject of recent controversy involving the leak of decades old audio recordings where he can be heard repeating a homophobic slur as the voice of Goku. Funimation declined to comment on the nature of how the audio was leaked, where the recordings originated, or if the parties involved were ever reprimanded. – So, how do you know it was decades? BTW, “Decades means more than one. As in “at least 20 years”. I find that doubtful.

Huber is also on-record as a believer in the Flat Earth conspiracy theory. – WTF does this have to do with anything?

although Mignogna previously admitted to grabbing Marchi's hair in his own sworn deposition on June 26 – Wrong. He clearly “objects” to the term “pull”. Anyone watching the video sees this.

although it is unclear if Mignogna was informed that he was "cancelled" by previous conventions or blacklisted and not invited back without his knowledge. – “cancelled” means he was contracted to go to a convention, and then cancelled. This is different from being blacklisted. Oh, and there are many voice actors that get blacklisted.

Yeah it has happend alec holowka took his own life due to accusations made by zoe quinn.

It doesn't matter if he was innocent or guilty.the problem is alec is dead and he can't tell his side of the story or apologise to any abuse he caused.

The same thing could have happened to vic if he didnt have support from friends family and fans.

That's why it's never a good idea to air out your accusations on social media, whether the accuser means no harm to the accused or not something bad is going to happen to the accused.

Imagine if that Person went on a rampage and killed more then just the #metoo-er. And yet the Person who started the metoo would be called a hero for what a normal person would call insane.

Twitter a Kangaroo court, and nothing good has, or will come out of it when people think they are internet batman, and the rest of the rest of the mob thinks they are the justice league. It only leads to Death, Ruined Lifes, and Internet sperg olympics on who can claim the medal for Most deranged lunatic.

First of all, it's ANN.
They've hated Vic Mignogna since at least 2013.
Now, they have no qualms about spreading bad press in any shape or form about him.
They are THAT invested.

they, like the sUpEr TwItTeR lAwYeRs made a mountain out of a molehill. Literally just striking down an outdated doc and Ty making better ones to suit the situation

This stands out to me.

Remember in the early part of this mess, people would come to Vic's defense? "HE was a perfect gentleman," "I had a great experience with him," "He was great," etc. The Kick Vic response was "well, just because he was nice to you doesn't mean he wasn't am abuser to everyone else!"

And now the shoe's on the other foot. They say no one they talked to was casting couch'd, which might even be true. But they ignore their own argument: just because it didn't happen to person X, it doesn't mean it never happened to person Y, riiiiight?

Any time you have a subject or issue that gets pushed by politically motivated groups, you have an attempt at behavior modification. The problem is that the behavior they are trying to modify isn't that of 'rapists' or 'mysoginysts' but of the public. It's the narrative. They want an issue perceived in X way so they run straight to the old stand-by "Pick a target, freeze and personalize it."

The power they crave comes in knowing that very few people will have the weight in their balls to stand up and point that out. And when someone does, it's "Name and shame". Sound familiar? It should.

And so society is programmed to 'behave' as the leftist demands. They don't GAF about rape victims. If they did, they would never have spread the lie about 'rape culture' that no legal documents, arrest records, court cases or anything that actually matters can back up. All you have to understand is that #metoo, like every other current year crisis, is invented to achieve power, and unsurprisingly, that power all seems concentrated on one end of the spectrum.
