Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Has Chupp met the Lemonfuhrer yet? If not tomorrow is gonna be FUN.

I doubt it. J-ADOLPH was in the building for some of the depositions but I believe when Beard went to Chupp for authenticating Toye's tweets it was only Erick, Beard, Chupp and the reporter.

It would be some 4D level shit if Ty deliberately went and met with Huber & co. personally on a day where they would be all over the place and set up this entire trap to make them look ridiculous.

And then went on stream - where he KNEW they would be looking - and said "he fucked up" with no context to trigger them

No. It's even better. They just don't have the right to ask all these questions in court.
They will have this right only if one of the signatories is suddenly out of reach or out of the world of the living (God forbid).

In all other cases, secrecy of this conduct is protected by law (work-product immunity). Ty knew this, so he just doesn't care.

And when the lawsuit passes, Lemoine won't even be able to take away Ty's license. Also according to Texas rules. Because it's none of his Lemoine's business.

Ty is just a lawyer, unlike Lemoine.

The only fraud in this whole story is Lemoine. Because he is incompetent and yet he is being paid.

I plan to go and report back. At least one other person on KF also said they planned to go, but that was before the continuance so no clue now.

I’m sure several people will also tweet about it tomorrow.

And for a bonus: the Dallas Morning news lady said she planned to attend.

That courtroom is gonna be fucking lit.

If you had told me at the start of this year that I’d be excited for a court hearing and it would be this weird, I’d have told you to jump off a bridge.

Even Ty's fuck ups are worth the price of admission based on how round the bend they drive Lemonhead.
At this point Ty should just cut the foreplay and get them a sleazy hotel tomorrow and charge it to the IOLTA. It would be the closest thing Lemoine has gotten to getting paid this whole time.

ANY good will the Furher gained by Ty's fuck up is gone. He could have kept quite and Ty might have not known until he was infront of a judge. He could have done nothing today and made Ty look incompetent. That would have been okay to good for Lemoine.

Lemon Furher instead waits 1 day to subpoena a witness to a hearing. He makes sure that any good will he would have had is dead after the fuckery he has committed today. I simply can not believe this man passed the BAR.
I guess that law school grads in the recent past have the same problem as every other college grad for at least the past 20ish years. They were taught by incompetents with agendas. Granted there are exceptions but if I find myself in need of a lawyer, I'll be looking at GenXers or earlier first before playing roulette with a Millennial law grad.

Have I missed something? Is J-ADOLPH something else in addition to the whole lawyer gig? Is he a knight of the round or something?

He's clearly the Mosquito Messiah. The Man destined to protect all the Wahmens from the evil temptation of Vic's of so gay pants. "CONSLUUUUTS! gurgle gurle wheeeeze!"
(Please pay no attention to the fact that Jdolph's clients are in fact actual wife beaters, are operating a casting couch in their industry and are dog piling an actual victim of Funimation Sexual Harassment as we speak.)

We have good reason to believe that Lemoine is a fraud.
That he is not a real lawyer and is completely incompetent.
He may have stolen someone else's identity or forged documents confirming his right to practice law.

I think at least 10% of those involved in this discussion who are not lawyers would have done a better job than Lemoine did. This is despite the fact that Lemoine was advised by half of the Twitter population.

I'm kidding. But I'm not sure I'm so far from the truth.

I wouldn’t say that. No matter how nasty they seem to be, I think it’s naive to dismiss their ability. It does seem like he’s reaching for any hope before the hearing, basically throwing darts to see what sticks.

We can only let it all play out.

J. Sean Lemoine just sent a subpoena to Jim Bullock that commanded him, Vic, Ty Beard, and Carey to summon them:

Did the little scumbag file for leave with the court, considering that discovery is stayed?

Sounds like contempt of court to me.

I wonder if it's proper to subpoena someone to appear on a one day's notice.

I wonder if it's proper to subpoena anyone at all with a discovery stay in place.

Oh wait I don't. I know that it fucking isn't.

I wouldn't be so sure. His recent overzealousness might be because his clients have fallen behind in their bills, and being awarded fees in a TCPA victory is his only hope of seeing a payday.

I'm just laughing at him.
I'm not suggesting to Vic's lawyers that they should stop taking him seriously. But I'm not Vic's lawyer, so I can just make fun of him.

I wonder if he has become or is planning to become a counter-plaintiff in another filling. And then put "plaintiff" in this motion. But again, I don't know Texas Civil Procedure.

Considering the case number and the litigants at the top of the page, I don't think it matters. Ty's likely going to ignore the "oversight", but it's the same kind of crap Lemoine's whining about.

I was about to make that point too. The TCPA has an automatic discovery stay, they can't subpoena shit without the court's permission. It's a chickenshit move and probably sanctionable behavior on the part of Lemoine.

My pet theory is that this is an angle shoot, and Lemoine was hoping that BHBH would react by having Vic actually show up and testify even though Lemoine has absolutely zero right to force them to.

Somehow KickVic has been lazy.
There are many documents with the same signatures in two places.
If they summoned Vic to court for this, why only Vic?

I don't know the Texas rules, but so far I have great suspicions that this is an official facsimile signature or something like that. Maybe there are some rules about it, a special procedure.

We will see.

Digital signature. You sign once and since it's a PDF, it's just splatted everywhere it needs to go.

What if him signing as the Plaintiff is a hint? What if he's going to push for Ty to be arrested for notary fraud while at the courthouse? Which is why they're having the reporter lady be there?
