Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Somehow KickVic has been lazy.
There are many documents with the same signatures in two places.
If they summoned Vic to court for this, why only Vic?

I don't know the Texas rules, but so far I have great suspicions that this is an official facsimile signature or something like that. Maybe there are some rules about it, a special procedure.

We will see.

I think the catch is in this. Vic will be more than ready to settle with the only condition that the defendant, who wants to get off the hook, must publicly completely disclaim his own words. Public apology.

And the problem of the defendants is that no one but Funimation can even theoretically go for it. Once they do so, they are done.

So they will fight back in court until their money runs out, and then the court will just rule in Vic's favor that they owe him money.

That's if Funimation doesn't make their move. If Funimation finally decides to turn everyone in, apologize to Vic, pay him compensation and take him back, the case will close very quickly.

Funimation has other options. They can get off the hook through TCPA now, or through an appeal (if they are lucky). They can try to prolong the lawsuit itself for years (they have money).
This is where Nick and the media component are needed. To force Funimation to turn everyone in.

It seems like Funimation has to prove that it is going to clean up. I'm guessing with Toei and Sony watching they'll be more professional. I can see more skeletons being dug up screwing Funimation to hell though. Especially if those skeletons include drug use or Sabat being banned from conventions.

The Vic lawsuit is the only thing that Funimation has control over in this scenario. And seeing as how it is the root problem of most of their current ills they probably would want to be rid of it.

I agree that the TCPA is a possible out but an appeal a year away might be a bit much. Funimation may not have any IP's or customers by then. (Any worth a damn anyway.)

By who? And how? Who was the receiver? All I've been seeing through randos on Twitter is that "it's verified and already sent to relevant parties", with no real proof of verification.
By Monica herself. She "clarified" her statement. Basically went full damage control. She started blocking ppl again too

Saw the thread posted earlier, but I'll reiterate here.

How are you this bad at damage control Monica?
Also, great job trying to throw her under the bus by bringing up "her criminal record." Would hate for Sabat to have to deal with the consequences of his actions, but believe all victims, right?

"The claims aren't valid because she hasn't mentioned any of this to anyone for years. Now please go back to believing claims I made that I haven't mentioned to anyone until years after they happened."

Because they wanted to preclude any possibility that this was actually done legitimately. Because if they tried that, and they were legitimately signed, then they'd lose their credibility with the court.
If they were legitimately signed what they did will still lose them credibility in the court. They are claiming criminal charges against Ty, Chris, Chuck and Vic based on tweets and a picture of Eric vale with a fan and the fact the defense would not pay the notary fee to see the book.

Did you read that whole Tweet thread, apparently Stephanie is saying she was hacked now?
You may have missed the part where there were two identical Stephanie's on facebook yesterday and the fake one has mysteriously disappeared. And why has Stephanie not just stated publicly on tweeter/facebook her account got hacked?

Ah, the good ol' "I never said those stupid things! Someone hired Russins to haxxor my account to make me look bad!" excuse.

I only monitor this thread right now. Web wars is too spastic and full of fluff, and None of the other topics currently interest me.

If it’s not posted here, or tweeted by Nick I probably missed it.

That’s confusing. Did Huber even mention Stephanie and/or her criminal record in his affidavit?

And how could you say that you thought she was her friend, and then mention that you were worried about her criminal record coming out?

This wasn't posted here yet but I find it interesting. Monica sorta confirmed the "casting couch" story. Not sure how this will help vic but I guess it makes Huck's statements look a bit more credible.

This is amazing to me. Stephanie's career was allegedly torpedoed because she wouldn't put out, and Monica's response is to whine about Stephanie having hard feeling about it and that making her not a good friend. I guess the #MeToo movement is only good for Monica's distortions, and not for someone who potentially experienced an actual scenario where she either had to put out or get out. FFS. Monica really is a trashy, awful person. I will never forget her blaming Ron's victims, either-- #MeToo weilded for jelly bean jokes and consensual kisses, but not for alleged casting couches or actual DV victims. Just disgusting.

Not to mention it was KV that leaked her arrest records.
So it's passive aggressive "I wish she didn't make us have to do this."

Yes, which is why Lemoine asked Ty first. Presumably Ty would say "oh yeah, they were here for sure" if they had actually signed them in his presence.

The fact that Eric is documented to be hundreds of miles away on the day of the alleged signing is pretty compelling evidence that he was not present in Tyler (or wherever).

J. Sean Lemoine just sent a subpoena to Jim Bullock that commanded him, Vic, Ty Beard, and Carey to summon them:
Literally the day before when Vics most likely already out of town? Sounds like a Quash is coming up before trial.

Whoa, Monica feels betrayed by someone she thought was a long time friend, and is implying that because Stephanie has known her for years and didn't tell her about these allegations, that they're not true?

Is Monica secretly Vic Mignogna?
