Ignoring various dramas going on at the moment, I would speculate that Stephanie may be waiting to see how things go with the case before coming forward. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people are. As it stands Sabat remains unsued, and Funimation may yet win their TCPA challenge. Coming forward with dirt they have on Sabat would make them a target of his retaliation while doing little good. Funimation failing at the TCPA and Sabat being sued by Vic would be the time for people like Stephanie to come forwards. They'll have some assurance that Funimation won't simply be able to get the suit dismissed, and they can make their statements about Sabats behavior in the protection of testifying against him in a lawsuit. So I wouldn't expect to hear much out of Stephanie any time soon, and other people who might be inclined to testify as Chuck did likely won't speak up soon either.

I don't believe that is accurate.

Doing standard background checks of the important parties including all previous legal and financial events is normal for any time of civil litigation.

And Ty has stated multiple times that his litigation style is to default to goodwill until the other side acts otherwise so that is consistent with not bringing any of Ron's history to public attention by their side this early in the case.

I don't think he was ever actually convicted of domestic battery or anything, and the restraining order isn't active anymore. Not super up on TX gun laws, but I'd assume that would be enough to make it allowed. Unless he's had a legal hold put on him or something, maybe?

Unfortunately today many gun laws are either ignored or 'reinterpeted' on the spot depending on your judge, their political party and yours. This is the case for a lot of 'law' in
America these days. LAW doesn't mean what it used to. Thats why one soccer mom in Jersey gets thrown in jail for months for transporting a gun legally and an illegal alien gets set free for murdering a rando in California.
