It's more than that. The defense can't even address Vic's evidence. Vic just has to show he has a legitimate cause of action, and that he's not bringing this lawsuit to silence the defendants' First Amendment rights.

If the defense wants to argue the truth or falsity of Vic's claims, they can get the jury to decide who's telling the truth.

If it is Justin Cook, I'd :story: I would laugh my ass off if he took everyone at Funi outback like old yeller. (Cause remember. Vic went to Justin Cook, and agreed that they were all baseless. Also why is Justin Cook so much in the background of Funi, despite being around the same time entering Funi as Sabat. Like why doesn't he get more roles, DESPITE being THE voice of Yusuke Urameshi)

Justin is a very integral figure of Funimation and anime dubs, and has his hands in a lot of directing work. He's the old guard.

Did any of you guys expected this to go from "Anime VA accused of being creepy with underage fans" to "Laughing at a Texan lawyer with West Nile over the word 'conslut' while Minnesotan shock jock rants about it"?

This has been some of the most fun I've had over the last 6 months. I can only wait it escalates from this after tomorrow's hearing

I know. But doesn't explain why he is in the background so much unlike Sabat who keeps getting roles. (Also I REALLY hope Justin Cook was IN on the casting couch nastiness. I mean if he knew about it, but literally couldn't do anything about it, I'd be okay with that.)

I geniunely thought that the Maddox Lolsuit would be the most fun I've had watching a lawsuit.

Rackets has already had more impact on the world than Maddox, I'd wager.

May just be the kind of guy Justin is, may have preferred work that didn't rip his voice to shreds every recording session.

I say he'd rather do director work or other work that doesn't involve using his voice or the people in charge of casting don't like him that much. Also I just learned he was only 19 when he voiced Yusuke

Indeed. Though he does appear to be able to still do the voice, might be harder on him I assume though
