It can always be appealed.
I don't think appeals even do much. If chupp rejects it the first time I doubt he will do an 180.

I mean - hasn't he already? I personally can't stand the guy, I mean - go and make your cheddar, but goddamn. All ages horror Cthulu is an oxymoron.Well, if that copy/paste/clickbait parasite goes back into irrelevance, where he belongs, at least some justice will have been served...
That's one such questionable call. The problem is judges aren't obligated to read shit, they make dumb calls when they're tired or just irritated and I'm surprised a Texan judge was even willing to put up with anything involving anime.Hard to do when the evidence for the TI is thrown out though.
Only for Greg to leak the dms and laugh at Nick. Pretty sure things aren't that desperate right now. While the iron is hot, Nick should reach out to High T Greg and they should stream together. I'm sure they'd be able to get a few hate views and superchats.

He may necessarily have to 180 based on what the appeals court saysI don't think appeals even do much. If chupp rejects it the first time I doubt he will do an 180.
An appeal occurs to different judges.I don't think appeals even do much. If chupp rejects it the first time I doubt he will do an 180.
It would be a different judge hearing the appeal.

-Ty didn't fuck up TITy didn't even fuck up TI.
The only thing he clearly fucked up was the affidavits thing which the judge couldn't have cared less about. Sometimes things just don't go your way.

Can’t remeber if it was recent but during one of the lulls in the case I watched his stream on how predators/CP enthusiasts are baited and caught and it was genuinely interesting and informative.Hasn't Nick had to play tard wrangler on more than one occasion?
Vic is just one case to him - one that he probably has devoted a little too much time (and personal investment) to, but he has the entire American legal system to dig through to find something else to talk about.
So unless Vic starts paying out of his pocket, he won’t be able to fight anymore. I think that was KV’s strategy: bleed him dry. And it’s working. Here's the thing.
Based on how Chupp tossed out a bunch of stuff immediately, there is no reason to be optimistic that he will not bring down defamation in the written judgment.
So we'll be seeing appeals. Meanwhile, Vic's funds are tied into the appearance that he has a chance. It does not look good for his war chest (EDIT: as in it will likely not increase much past this).
No, they either want him begging from the side of the road, hanging from a branch, or with a plastic bag over his head. Which could happen.Reminds me of what one of the folks on DHI so fittingly said regarding the Vic situation: Always get a real job!
Depends on how much bourbon and scotch the judge has.How many hours would it approximately take plaintiff to explain the context of this whole mess to the judge (who apparently didn't bother to read anything himself)?
-Ty didn't fuck up TI
-But he fucked up the things that was most important for TI
What? The affidavits were the biggest pieces of evidence for TI and Ty completely fucked those up. And on top of that, he did an awful job building his case against Marchi and didn't think to bring in context for the tweets she made. Ty royally fucked things up.

So far this one doesn't quite rank as one of the worst I've seen, but to me it seems he doesn't have much interest in this case and likely wants it done and over with. Especially if the twitter antics are things he's been keeping track of.
