It seems like using that as a measuring stick would be open to so much abuse.

I'm still not understanding the autistic screeching, Vic's case was always going to be won and lost in the court of public opinion, even Nick has said this repeatedly. The actual legal case was just an attempt to get some money out of it.

Even if Vic got everything in his favor, he still would be out of a lot of iconic roles. I like Vic and I like Nick but I have not invested a single cent into this cause. But it is amazing people have not come to terms that every day is a new bug surprise. And today created the maximum amount of lolz so...we win? Even a large number of Kiwis being butthurt adds to that.

This is me being optimistic but maybe now KV will stop sperging so much and news will slow. Because oh my goodness has this circus been a headache to follow. A week for this is like a month for some other legal battle.

It's like he didn't read the part that says the Plantiff and the Defendants are (technically) actors that work for a (decently) well known company that distributes visual media and is worth several million dollars. I'd assume some people would be curious about that aspect.

So what do appeals look like at this point? It seems like the judge wanted more than just prima facie, which seems kinda strange to me.

Indeed, Vic has basically won there, he gets invited to cons and the whole lawsuit and drama has built a bridge between him and his fans, if they can raise over $200,000 for this I have no doubt that Vic will be fine.

Nobody knows, if everything is dismissed it will almost certainly be appealed by Ty if Vic wants to do that.

Will the defendants appeal if they're still in? Almost certainly.
