Well, then it's more like the last episode (last normal episode). When it turned out that the death star was already finished, the rebels on the planet were captured, and the fleet was ambushed and now will be destroyed.

This is the most terrifying #MeToo in the history of its nonsense so far, and as it goes deeper into an unwinnable battle, I start fearing the day autistic spergs start murdering their accusers like Ty Beard said, making things even worse.

Yeah it's drastic and most people don't do it for moral reasons, but if they know that the people that placed them in such position will continue to do so, then morally, they should put a stop to it.

Logically speaking it's really fucking easy to get to the point Ty mentioned if courts don't do their damn job. More so in USA where it's easier to get a gun than to get schoolbooks for a school.

Oof. Yeah, the Judge is blatantly ignoring the TCPA. That's an appeal. Can judges face sanctions?

If this is legitimate, why the hell weren't Ty and Nick aware of this way before hand? They've been telling us that Chupp was a fair lawyer all this time. Could this just be a buttburt lawyer who lost?

It's probably a bit of butthurt, and a bit of politics. You don't badmouth your judge, just on the off chance he watches the stream even though he's not supposed to.

Yea well I am just going to take solace in the fact no matter what Funi is fucked and there is not a thing they can do about it. The way the Defendants and KV have been dividing the community no ones getting over this any time soon and summer is coming.

I'm more curious how it would devolve then if it will, another round of leaks, people like chuck trying to get the Texas part of the industry to unionize, or weeb shit to go underground due to how hostile they get towards each other.
there is so many ways it can go and I think anyway it does after this might start to fuck over the popularity of stuff like dubs and cons if it escalates any further.
then again thats because anime as a whole isn't main stream, only certain properties are.

I'll agree here. It's strange to think that Chupp isn't biased, because he didn't give Lemoine his glory moment.
Or because he objected to the defense lawyers at least somewhere.

If Chupp were to play along with the defense attorneys even more, if he nodded at each of their arguments and eventually closed all the charges right there in the courtroom. It wouldn't be "biased" anymore. It would become "lose even a grain of shame".

Both Sam and John got to depose Vic, but Ty didn't get to depose either Jamie or anyone at Funi. Yet Sam and John used the deposition to defend their clients...
Ronica didn't succeed with their master plan of deposing Vic then TCPAing him, but Jamie and Funi did.

On a side note, I don't think Ty fucked up that much, I think he was prepared to defend a prima facie, and the judge asked him to defend the case (without being allowed to add evidences to a motion built to defend a prima facie, that's an important detail).
Seems to me that the defendants counsels successfuly managed to drive the judge off-road by pissing him off for X months.
I bet you Sam must be so thankful for Jdolf's shitshow right now...

Now, the tons of question I have (hoping Nick see them and answer them in his next stream) :
- during the 30 days, can the judge reconsider something he dismissed during the hearing as being a valid point ?
- if Ty appeals, can the new hearing take place with the same judge ? Or is it required to be another one ?
- if Ty appeals, does he have to appeal to the whole hearing at once, or can he appeal only a specific decision ?
- assuming not everything is dismissed, if more evidences about a dismissed claim appear, can those claim get back in the lawsuit ?
- assuming not everything is dismissed, is Jamie still deposable ?

How can you possibly throw off cases when the pretrial evidence includes communications of the defendants outright admitting to the crime is beyond me.
