I'm curious if Vic's feelings and perspectives on Monica and Funimation's clown show has changed since the TCPA. I assume Vic is more than likely to take the holy way out and act on the premise of good faith. However, I'd like believe he's in the position where he is backed into a corner and should consider that the opposition is past salvation and forgiveness.

I can't help but really think that people have been overselling his Christianity as it pertains to his dealing with the defendants.

Do you think sometimes Nick gives too good of advice and the other side is watching and taking notes? Nick going over how Ty fucked up the notary on that recent document was good ammo for Lemmonie. They basically had Nick doing their work for them.
Perhaps. Maybe they temporarily put their egos into their asses and started listening the shock jock

No.

They have already made up their mind about nick being a hack fraud grifter.

Think how long it took them to admit Nick wasn't Vic's lawyer. No doubt in my mind they don't give two shits what he thinks, and write him off as a hack fraud grifter as they always have. Maybe even more now with the impulsive knee jerk reacts to the herring.

Lol. Toei knows what's up

Make no mistake, Vic took it reeeally hard before getting all the facts about what actually happened. He even had a so-called "friend" reading the KV live Tweets and texting/berating him (grrr!!). With friends like those....ugh

It was a tough day for sure, but Vic is okay. He's a sensitive soul, but he has a good support system in place. Never a need to apologize for caring.
Christ. Why would his "friend" do that? What good could that do? Hope Vic showed him/her the door. Or you did.

If Vic ever starts to feel alone, make sure he understands he has a lot of friends.

Also, victory won't come from just a lawsuit. To truly beat those horrible people, he has to find success after their attempts to tear him down. Whether that success is inside or out of the anime industry doesn't matter in the grand scheme (I'm sure it matters to Vic though on a personal level.)

I believe Vic should livestream on YouTube should all else fail. He can draw a crowd, people want to support him, he has friends I'm sure that would shill for him and kickstart a potential channel real quickly. He's lived for nearly 60 years and probably has all kinds of stories to tell. With how pissy people get about Nick Rekieta getting tons of superchat money, I can't help but think how booty blasted people would be if Vic found similar or even more success on the same platform.

The best part? He could still interact with his fans because I know that's what's most important to him.

Now that I can post rationally instead of emotionally (thank you, college football), I can understand Chupp being a hardass. Even without the legal shit, when he was assigned, he was probably told that he’s got defamation and screwing with business opportunities. Legal proceedings start and he’s hearing things like “best girl” and “con sluts” and getting filing after filing and he’s just “what the fuck are these people and this case?” And that 25 people thing may be him just trying to make a joke since that’s the defendant’s argument they’re beating into the ground. Honestly, he’s probably hearing things and going through evidence over 30 days and his thought is “where’s the fucking scotch?” So, even without the legalese, I can understand him reaming into Ty.

Also, @Svetlana, I want to apologize for my comments of Vic needing to be on suicide watch from yesterday and insinuating that Vic might kill himself. I just remember people saying that Vic took a lot of things really hard and he was taking antidepressants and went from there.
I'm sure the exceptional way this case has been handled on both sides of the peanut gallery, the shit that's gone on in the courtroom, and the public spectacle surrounding the case is pissing Chupp off to some extent.

There seems to be a lot of "so-called friends" in the anime dubbing business. Seems messy.

Was that a voice actor?

I doubt it. When the new lawyer was announced Twitter Law had a freak out because Nick and Ty are supposed to be grifters and incompetent lawyers. The fact that they kept a secret and didn't broadcast the fact there was a third lawyer to squeeze money from people was impossible.

Anyone that admits Nick has good points would be excommunicated.

Good to hear he's holding up. I'm meeting him in a week with my family and we're all hyped. I hope that we bring him some more joy.

As Vic is a Christian...do you believe he would forgive any of these people for what they've done, regardless of how the lawsuits go or if they ever change and apologize?

What they've done has been terrible for him, but in my view they truly are the suffering ones. Imagine lying your ass off so much and not being about to correct the course without looking even worse and being eaten alive by KV. Imagine doing this to another human and cheapening real assault. Imagine covering for real abuse...all because of ego.

It sounds like Hell.

Vic would probably make an attempt to be civil, and at least forgive the transgressions on the surface. He might probably even try to actually forgive them deep down if he's truly as religious as people make him out to be.

Have fun meeting with him, and remember, stay a neutral 3rd party and try not to get any reaction out of both him and any KV or ISWV people.

EDIT: just to be clear, feel free to talk with him about anime and shit, just don't try to get him to sperg and shit. As interesting as that would be if its actually possible to get him to do so its already kinda on the side of iffy meeting with someone we talk about on this forum, but I think its acceptable to do so.

He is your typical American Dream Dad with beautiful daughters. I doubt he would want to throw that away and miss football practice. That's why BHBH has to provide bulletproof evidence. Boomers and Dallas News is breathing down his neck.

The thought of T. Greg Douchenozzle trying to breath down Judge Chupp's neck while being connected to his cpap machine made me giggle like an idiot.

You can forgive people without giving them any mercy and making sure that justice is served.

Self-preservation should come before any sort of feelings or moral standings. It sounds brutal but when people are being brutal one must change accordingly.
It's like being a soldier in war. You have to kill your opponents, often brutally, and usually can't show mercy but you also can understand, sympathize, and relate to them.
Vic is too good a person if he can do that with MoRon though, they really don't deserve it.

They're probably barely listening, but unfortunately a lawyer also has to listen to their client. Ron really doesn't sound like a guy who'd listen and Monica will go his way. Funi is 50/50 because it's a business and they'll weigh the options.
