why are there so much 3D art (art, for lack of a better word) that's just terrible looking Gmod screenshots in the fandom anyways?

I guess it's because it's basically Babby's First 3D Renderer: easy to use, runs even on shit PCs, has lots of free models to use from a bunch of different games and cartoons, etc.

And those who stuck with it now make thousands of dollars a month posing other people's models in SFM. I've seen so many "good" SFM "artists" straight up say "I can't make anything with this new character everyone loves because someone else have to rip and rig the model first". It's pathetic.

Hell, this dude (nsfw) makes at least a grand from ironic minecraft SFM. Once more; if you had the intent to milk anyone of money, the fandom is ripe as fuck and won't even mind.

I question not why Whitekitten commissions such things. I question not why the artist themselves gets off to it as well (look through their gallery). I know not why people consider this shit “cute, fun, and kinky” and whatever answer we receive will never give closure to those who see these images.
