Exactly, defamation cases are never easy. Because they are saying Vic was fired due to allegations and freedom of speech clashes with that. People forget with laws and shit you can basically throw common sense out the window doesn't matter how clear cut it seems it gets muddied up instantly with the hundreds of clashing laws that contradict the next.

I rarely block. It's inexplicably entertaining, like watching a toddler flailing.

Actually, I think at one point I had @RodgerDodger blocked, by accident. I kept seeing "THIS POSTER GRINDS YOUR GEARS" and was scratching my head what that was about, and why I wasn't seeing CGI doge in a week.

So call me :optimistic: for even imagining it but what's the chances Chupp looks back at something he decided on in the hearing and reconsiders, without a motion requesting that? Is that even a thing that he's allowed to do?

Edit: a superchat asked the same question, Nick says that's not a thing that can happen. Ah well, a man can dream.

Each slide comes in from a different direction, He has a clicker and each new click has a sound effect. The last slide is Vic's head circling in and the click adds devil horns and fire behind his head. Each slide has that shitty old MS Word text effects too. I'm fantasizing too much about this I need to stop.

Douchette is a rare case. He screams "I'm a lawyer a srs lawyer let me destroy you with my endless lawyer jargon and if you make a good argument then #stillfired is my pistol in the boot". Yet as a lawyer he should know the case isn't over until it's fucking over. No sense spiking the football into the ground for a TD when your team is up by 3 points in the 3rd quarter. Defamation was the main meat of the case and 3 out of 4 players are still in the game.
