Chupp basically got BTFO'd by the TX Supreme Court. From a ruling seven years ago. And it involved religious matters, which might or might not influence his constituents if someone actually runs against him.

That's not even the first time he's been overruled in that very case, once with a writ of mandamus, an order that he was screwing up the case so badly that if not fixed immediately, it would ruin the case beyond being able to fix on direct appeal later.

Fucking hell, of all the Judges we could get on this case, of course it had to be a dooling autistic moron, because apparently it wasn't enough of a shitshow. Of fucking course.

I do hope we get to make a cow of this Judge though.
Now that we know, Ty knows because Laci or some poor intern is scouring the Farms. And if Ty didn't know about Chupp before, he does now, and is reaching for the whiskey.

I'm Nick
But I'm also Ron
And sometimes John Kelly

Chupp stepped on a lego confirmed

Oh, oh no.

Some dude replaced all his flooring with Lego overnight, but inconsistently and in a way he couldn't avoid constantly stepping on some Lego. Then they replaced his shower water flow with Lego. Then he got into an accident, and they had to reconstruct half his body with Lego, so now his body is at as much enmity with itself as a mulatto son of a slaveholder.

Nick mentioned that Chupp was basically bitchslapped by the Texas Supreme Court earlier in the week. That probably was stinging hard.

He may be bitchslapped by the Texas Supreme Court again.

Those reviews are starting to gain a little weight now between this double bitch slap from the supreme court and the TCPA hearing going the way it did. Someone pointed out on his peer reviews "correctly applying the law" was his lowest score across the board. It really looks like a pattern forming, but it could also be confirmation bias. 🤔

I think I found that case of Chupps that was appealed recently mentioned in stream. I urge someone better at this to check my work on this but here is what I got.

The fact that Nick doesn't have any control over the gfm funds (as well as Ty who only has limited control) hurts their Nick=grifter narrative.

I believe JMK's theory is that Ty will get paid then pass along a kickback to Nick. This raises the question of "what would the billing information from BHBH prove" but I'm not as dense as this jack off.

No doubt. I hope it gets overturned.

I wouldn't be this annoyed if the plaintiff in this case wasn't being conspired against by multiple people who he called friends, a bunch of "news" outlets and multiple companies and cons. And to have this imbecile loaf around and carelessly pass rulings like this both scares and infuriates me. Just do your job to the best of your ability. It's all I ask.

This seems to be the best of his ability.
What sort of person even votes in a Judicial election? I'm guessing you only get exceptional individuals inconveniencing themselves to vote for someone they'll probably never care about.

It is on the general election stuff in Illinois. It's more "while you're here, please vote for a judge."

To be fair to Chupp, this is an insanely complicated and lengthy case. It's been on his docket since shortly after he was appointed by Rick Perry in 2009. It's been up and back to the Supreme Court of Texas more than once with him being reversed.

Yeah I noticed that even in their opinion they start off by stating just how complex this case was. But still, the thing he got reprimanded for was not an oversight or just getting lost in the weeds, he was trying to apply church law rather than secular law.

That's exactly what a court can't do because it violates the Establishment Clause. Internal ecclesiastical law is a matter for clerics, not jurists. Who owns property is secular law, though.

Exactly, and I even pointed that out earlier. My question now is would that be grounds for further disciplinary actions on a Judge and if so what would that look like? I would like to think that an example like this involving a constitutional violation would carry with it some action, especially if a higher court has had to get involved to reverse the mistake not once but twice on the same or similer issue. What if Chupp has received word that he is about to be disciplined from this on top of the PR egg on his face from the appeal in the first place? IDK about anyone else but if I was made a fool of publicly and reamed behind the scenes in the same day as I had to sit in on a particularly annoying case, id have a bad Friday too.

This also brings a new possibility that the Judge could be black pilled at this point. He has a history seemingly not caring about being appealed, since he did it twice on the same issue and case. Those reviews from his peers had "applies laws properly" as his lowest mark across the board. The anonymous reviews while by themselves were nothing, but seem to fit into the pattern. So now there is a very likely possibility that we are dealing with a Judge that is either trying to be a Maverick and play by his own rules, or at this point has seen writing on the wall that puts his future as a judge into question causing him to not really care any more.

And now I will be the first to also say this is crazy and autistic, wishful thinking yadi yada yada, but it really does seem like we are dealing with a very problematic Judge and it has already and will continue to affect this case and probably not in the best way for any of the parties involved.

Not quite sure why everybody shits on lawyers all the time. Looks to me like judge's are the real pieces of shit.

Guess who grows up to be Judges?

Answer: Law Twitter and a million "Feminist Legal Scholars" coming from Tidy-bowl-dyke University.

It's gonna get a whole lot worse before it gets better.
