But to the kids she’d be known by her name, and she used her dead name? How often do kids use he/she to talk about a teacher? [X] DOUBT.

3. The whole part with the little kid “standing up for her” and insisting she’s male? Wtf? Any kid I’ve ever known would just have said: “Oh yeah, sorry, I mean she said that...” if their brother or parent had told them they just misgendered a teacher. If anything they’d be kinda embarrassed about it, and choose it as a hill to die on.

This remained me about a romance manga I read years ago. It was written well before this gender madness. It had main character that was according the manga was half male & half female, who had love triangle with a girl and a boy. The main character was going trough gender identity crisis where their gender depended on witch love interest was bigger crush of the moment. If the boy was in the lead the main character went more towards female, if the girl was the love interest of the moment the main character went more towards male. The main character was super duper angsty becouse their gender hanged on witch love interest they would go with.

In no point was the possibility of gender and sexuality being different things brought up. It was just “if I go with the girl I must be a boy” and “if I go with the boy I must be a girl”. It was really dumb and I don’t member how it ended. I might not have even finished the manga because it was really really dumb. Still is that some people can’t recognize other sexualities than straight as real.

Was that Afterschool Nightmare by chance? I remember I read the first volume because it was nominated for an Eisner Award and I was curious to see if it was good. After finishing the first book I just concluded it was a bunch of crap. I remember the male suitor creepily harassing the main character to force them to identify as female. Very disturbing, even the parts where the MC decides to take kendo so to show everybody they're a "real man".

But the Japanese society is big about gender roles, not surprising that conflate sexuality with gender. I wonder how a modern troon would judge this manga. Also, I think we need a topic about this king of creepy/incoherent stories...

No. Some teenage girls spend a lot of time in front of bathroom mirrors- well really it's just in the bathroom- in high school bathrooms talking with their friends, wasting time, burning class time, gossiping, etc and even then it's pretty dubious. Adult women use public restrooms as a last resort and do a; get in, cleanliness check, toilet paper check, use, wash hands, get out as fast as humanly possible and only if you really really need to go. The vast majority of adult women don't wear enough makeup on the daily to need a makeup check and hair will only be a quick glance to check whilst washing hands. Public washrooms are not a place anyone wants to be unless they have too and lingering to preen in front of a mirror is a big no.

The popular 'bathroom selfie' that troons think women do are almost always in private, at home, bathrooms. There's no reason at all to have a camera out and being used in a public washroom, full stop. Even if you're a born woman, you'd get the stink eye if you did that because it's an incredible invasion of privacy.

It's purely satisfying their fetish and making born women uncomfortable.
